Rangers 2023 Tickets Guide

2023 Texas Rangers Tickets

Rangers tickets were expected to be a hot commodity following the opening of Globe Life Field. Unfortunately, the pandemic and poor on-field results have resulted in lukewarm interest. Rangers tickets were the 25th (of 30) most popular baseball ticket on RateYourSeats.com last year.

While the team added bats to its roster for the 2022 season, they added rotation help this year. The big prize of the off-season was Jacob deGrom - a perennial Cy Young candidate when healthy. If the pitching improves, expect ticket interest to surge in 2023.

Where to Buy Rangers Tickets

Season Tickets

Season tickets for the Rangers are available through the team's box office. This is usually the most affordable way to attend all 81 home games.

Season ticketholders will also enjoy benefits as a Lone Star Member, including post-season ticket opportunities and priority access for 2024 All-Star Game events.

Single-Game Tickets

Rangers single-game tickets for the 2023 season go on sale from the box office March 3rd.

Tickets are also available at RateYourSeats.com. Use the Globe Life Field interactive seating chart to search, compare and buy every ticket for every game - all at once.

Group Tickets and Packages

Purchasing a full-season ticket package is a big commitment. For fans who don't want to take the plunge, the Rangers offer multi-game packages at a much lower cost.

The most common ticket packages include half-season tickets, 20-game plans, and a ten-game TEX Flex package.

Globe Life Field can accommodate groups of different sizes in a number of different settings. The primary benefit of group tickets is discounted pricing and the ability to add-on food and beverage packages.

The most popular spaces for groups are in the outfield, including the Wild Rag Deck and all-you-can-eat seats.

How Much are Rangers Tickets?

2023 Ticket Prices

The Rangers did not widely announce any price changes for 2023.

On the secondary market, tickets are being priced more affordably than in 2022. The average get-in price (as of early March) in 2023 is about 20% lower than what it was last year at the same time.

Cheap Rangers Tickets

The cheapest games on the 2023 Rangers schedule are at the beginning of the year. As of March, there are three games on the regular season schedule with a get-in price of less than $10. All three of these games happen within the first two weeks of the season.

As summer approaches, Rangers tickets usually get more expensive. During these months, seeking out an afternoon game during the week is the best way to save money. There are six games on the schedule with a 1:05 pm start time on a Wednesday or Thursday, including a late-season matchup with the Red Sox.

Key Series in 2023

The Rangers play a loaded home schedule which includes games against every American League team and all three division winners from the National League.

Highlights of the schedule include 14 weekend series and two holiday series against their in-state rival (the Astros).

Here are the hottest Rangers matchups and tickets for 2023:

Phillies vs. Rangers - Mar 30 - Apr 2

The Rangers will get an early opportunity to prove that the ballclub made strides in the off-season.

The Phillies - who represented the National League in the 2022 World Series - head south for an opening-weekend series.

Yankees vs. Rangers - Apr 27-30

The most expensive tickets on the Rangers' home schedule are April dates against the Yankees. This 4-game set is highlighted by a Saturday night game on April 29th.

Expect tickets in the left field seats to be in high demand as fans hope for the chance at catching an Aaron Judge home run.

Dodgers vs. Rangers - Jul 21-23

Corey Seager will welcome his old team to Arlington when the Dodgers play the Rangers in late July.

This is a weekend series and is the third straight series Texas plays against a playoff team coming out of the All-Star break.

Astros vs. Rangers - Sep 4-6

The Astros take the trip I-45 for a Labor Day battle with their in-state rivals.

As of February, ticket prices for these games are relatively affordable considering the holiday and matchup.

Best Ticket Options at Globe Life Field

The best tickets for a Rangers game are in one of the premium areas behind home plate.

The best of the best are the Home Plate Suites which are dug out into the ground. Tickets are nearly impossible to come by and are very expensive when available.

Other options nearby include the Lexus Club and Balcones Speakeasy. Tickets are far-easier to come by and much less expensive. For most games, expect to pay about $300 per seat - though that figure usually doubles for games against the Yankees or other premier matchups.

The table below lists top ticket options with the lowest price for the rest of the season (as of Mar. 13, 2023) and a link to explore seats.

Cheaper Options

In the first year it allowed fans, Globe Life Field attendance ranked 5th in MLB. Last year that ranking dropped to 18th. The new-stadium luster has worn off, and the team must play well in order to draw more fans.

In the meantime, there are plenty of opportunities for cheap tickets. For most games, the cheapest ticket will only set you back $10-20.

The Upper Level (300s) is usually the first place to look when searching for a deal. There are usually a lot of un-sold tickets in this area, which keeps prices down. Among these, sections 322-326 are usually the least expensive.

The Pavilion Level (200s) can be thought of as the front of the upper deck, and is another place with cheap tickets for Rangers games.

Lastly, Mezzanine sections in the outfield are the cheapest way to get close access to the main concourse and its amenities.

2023 Changes at Globe Life Field

Globe Life Field did not undergo any significant changes in the off-season.

Best 2023 Rangers Giveaways & Promos

The Rangers promotional schedule for 2023 is the most generous program in baseball.

For 28 of 81 home games, there are promotional items being given away. These include bobbleheads, shirts, jerseys and more.

Most items are available in limited quantities and may have other restrictions (e.g.: kids only, etc.).

Some of the best promotional games of the year include:
