Rays 2023 Tickets Guide

Updated 9/18/2023 / First Published 2/23/2023
2023 Tampa Bay Rays Tickets

The Rays 2022 season went about as expected as the team finished third behind the Blue Jays and Yankees. On RateYourSeats.com, ticket interest was middle-of-the-pack compared to other MLB teams.

The team is expected to have a similar season this year, but with fewer games against the Red Sox and Yankees, interest in 2023 Rays tickets is down.

Where to Buy Rays Tickets

Season Tickets

Tampa Bay Rays season tickets are available at mlb.com/rays. A membership includes game tickets, post-season ticket priority and exclusive access to a ballpark lounge reserved for Season Members.

Single-Game Tickets

Rays single-game tickets are available on the team's website.

Tickets for all games are also for sale at RateYourSeats.com. Using the Tropicana Field ticket chart, you can search, compare and buy more than 40,000 listings all at once.

Group Tickets and Packages

To complement their full-season offering, the Rays offer a number of partial-season memberships. In essence, pick a day of the week, and the Rays probably have a plan for you.

In addition to half-season and quarter-season plans, there's a plan for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, weekends and weekdays.

For larger groups, in-game seating is available in just about every area of the ballpark. Large groups receive discounts and other perks when booking through the Rays.

Tropicana Field has some of the more noticeable group party areas. The 162 Landing and Bullpen Boxes are directly at field level near the team bullpens. Other spaces include multiple areas in left field and the Center Field Deck.

How Much are Rays Tickets?

2023 Ticket Prices

The Rays did not make any pricing change announcements for the 2023 season.

On the secondary market, ticket prices through the first two months of the season are similar to what they were last year.

Cheap Rays Tickets

After their spring training facility was damaged by Hurricane Ian, the Rays are playing a portion of their spring schedule at Tropicana Field. These games are the cheapest way to see the Rays at their home ballpark.

During the regular season, games during the week against poor teams have the lowest price tags. There are eight afternoon games on the schedule this year, including dates with the Red Sox and Angels.

Key Series in 2023

Including spring training, the Rays will host 23 of the other 29 teams at Tropicana Field this year.

Highlights of the schedule include inter-league matchups with the Dodgers and Phillies, and the yearly battles with the Yankees and Red Sox.

Here are the hottest Rays matchups and tickets for 2023:

Tigers vs. Rays - Mar 30 - Apr 2

The Rays open the 2023 season against the Tigers, who were one of the worst teams in baseball last year.

The Rays can get a jump-start on the A.L. East by grabbing an early-season series win.

Dodgers vs. Rays - May 26-28

The Rays conclude a 10-game homestand at the end of May against the Dodgers.

This is the premier interleague matchup on the schedule, and is the first time these teams have played since the 2020 World Series.

Yankees vs. Rays - Aug 25-27

Yankee Stadium south returns for another edition at the end of August.

In 2022 when the Yankees visited for a weekend series, attendance was nearly 70% higher than for the average Rays game.

Best Ticket Options at Tropicana Field

The best Rays tickets are the Home Plate Club and Rays Club. These are all-inclusive spaces in the stadium's lower bowl.

Of the two, tickets in the Home Plate Club are more desirable - but also more expensive and difficult to find. Rays Club tickets are usually available for most games and can be found for as cheap as $100.

The table below lists top ticket options with the lowest price for the rest of the season (as of Sep. 18, 2023) and a link to explore seats.

Cheaper Options

Historically, the cheapest tickets to a Rays game have been in the upper deck. But this area has been closed for some time - and fans sit in the two lower levels for most games.

On the 100 Level, tickets near the outfield are usually the least expensive. These include sections in foul territory and fair territory.

On the 200/Press Level, tickets are comparable in price to the cheapest seats on the lower level. There's good value here if you can snag seats on the infield, where you'll get a great view.

2023 Changes at Tropicana Field

With new stadium talks firmly in place, don't expect many significant changes at Tropicana Field.

Best 2023 Rays Giveaways & Promos

The Rays have 18 promotional games on the 2023 calendar. These games include a giveaway item for fans in attendance.

Most promo games are on the weekend, and all items are listed as "while supplies last".
