View was blocked by pillar Overall view was average, finding seat was difficult as this section was marked as both Section 206 and 207. No Usher was available and someone else claimed half our seats. Fortunately there were empty seats next to us which provided a better view. At one point I thought our tickets could be counterfeit.
Can see the action except for 2B and outfield scoreboards Pretty good seats to see balls and strikes, sits up a little higher to see all the action except for plays at second base. Also could not see the scoreboards in the outfield. 100% in the shade, no foul balls up here either.
Less chance of obstructed views on the right side Most views from seats higher than row 6 will have the risk of an obstructed view, but you can still find decent infield views if sitting in seat numbers 1-4 in rows 12 and lower. Without knowing the seat number prior to purchase, avoid rows 7 and higher whenever possible.
Seating and Ticket Q&A
Which seats are best for older people who have a little difficulty with stairs?
Although Wrigley Field is an old stadium, they have done much to improve the accessibility of the ballpark. For older fans, who have difficulty with stairs, we suggest the top or bottom rows of the 100 or 200 level sections. These sections have smaller steps compared to those in the upper level.
Look at rows 1-4 or 13-15 in sections 102-132. If these seats do not work for you, or are out of your price range, look at seats in rows 1-3 or 20-23 in sections 206-229.
If you are older, it may also be a good idea to avoid sitting in the sun for an afternoon game. You can use the "Shaded Seats" filter to find seats that are in the shade for your game.
I want to bring someone that has a fear of heights, what area would be best?
If you are attending a game with someone that has a fear of heights avoid any 400 or 500 sections. All other sections are on the ground level and don't feel high up in the air. The cheaper options will be in the 200 sections and will be a little further away while sections 2-40 and 101-142 will be nice and close to the field. These close seats will be pricier.
