"Can not get any better"

Seat Review From Section 231, Row 5, Seats 1-4
May 2011

Comments

Great seats. In the shade, and very close to concessions. Can't get any better.

    Clear View for Budget

    Jun 2019

    Section 231, Row 14, Seats 16-18

I like these seats alot because the poles are in the back of the section leaving clear views for almost all the seats. It is also the last section under cover... Although be careful in higher number seats as they may be left open. You can see the video board and the game perfect though which is all I care about when I go to a game.

Terrible! Cheap! But close to the bar!!!

    Section 231, Row 26, Seat 7

These seats were just as bad as I remembered them. I figured, hey, maybe old man wrigley improved these deeper seats with the renovation but nope, not at all, poles are still there. Not surprising considering how cheap these tickets still were (comparably). One thing that was new about the seats was the special roll-away bar behind the section. In the top corner of the 200 level, behind 231 you’ll find a little bar that rarely gets the traffic of the main stands. To make up for the crappy view, I took full advantage of the bar. Made the experience more memorable but less memorable at the same time. Always trying to look on the bright side for my Cubs!

      (Section 227) - -

Good to stay out of sun and good for the face value.

    • "Can't See 2nd Base"

      (Section 204) - -

The view of the plate is unobstructed, looking in between 2 columns. 2nd base is hidden behind the column in section 204. The left field corner is hidden. The upper deck hides fly balls so judging the distance of hits is hard. The view of the left field scoreboard is blocked by the upper deck ov...

    • "Shady Sanctuary"

      (Section 207) - -

Attended Cubs Reds on August 5, which surprisingly ended up in a Cubs win. It was maybe mid to high 80s with some typical Chicago summer humidity. But lucky for us, these seats were in the shade thanks to being under the overhand of the upper deck. The wind was blowing in from the northeast and p...
