Row 12 is the last row on this section and I would assume all the excelsior box sections. This creates a restricted view due the overhang of the upper deck. Fly balls will disappear from view and the scoreboard can not be seen. Across the concourse is a well appointed bar which is nice except the patrons watch the game with their drinks precariously perched on the rail directly behind the 12th row. Excelsior box sections are great seats just don't go higher than row eight.

Excelsior Box

The Excelsior Box sections at Citi Field are make up the second level and combine a great viewing height, easy access, and reasonable ticket prices. Sections are seated along the infield in 309-312 (first base side) and 326-329 (third base side). The second tier viewing perspective provides a very comfortable height. No more than 12 rows of seating ensures quick concourse access and a comfortable day at the ballpark. Look to the last few rows for the best overhead coverage, and avoid the first base side on sunny day games where the exposure is the greatest. More Amenity Notes Depending on the seller's ticket plan, these seats will also give fans a premium experience with access to the Piazza 31, Jim Beam Highball, and Metropolitan Grille club areas for Mets games.

The Excelsior Gold seats are located in the first row of all Excelsior Level sections 313-325. Being on the second seating tier, the seats not only have an ideal viewing height, but also feature smaller sections for easy access. Sitting here is the perfect location directly behind home plate and in front of the Excelsior Silver seats in rows 2-6. All sections are smaller with just 6 rows of seating. Excelsior Gold and Silver Club Access Depending on the seller's ticket plan, most Excelsior tickets will come with access to Citi Field's Piazza 31, Jim Beam Highball, and Metropolitan Grille premium areas. Check seller notes for any specifics on club access for Mets games. Other Gold Seats The first row of the entire Excelsior Level also receive "Gold" designation. All these seats have great unobstructed views out to the field from the front of the section. Similarly, club access will depend on the seller's ticket plan.
