Section 228 Row 5 Awesome Seats

    May 2012

    Section 228, Row 5, Seats 11-14

Great view of field. 1:15 pm game on a Sunday. It was a beautiful day, very sunny. The seats start out in the shade but by 4th inning was in the full sun. 76 degrees started out nice then got warmer in the sun as the game progressed. I should have worn shorts but wasn't sure how hot it would get and I hate being cold. There really wasn't anything to tell me if these seats were going to be in the sun or not. Yes and no to that question. Starts out in shade and last innings in the sun and hot at 76 degrees. I would pick these seats again but would wear a jacket with shorts at first then take off the jacket when the sun starts to move and in full sun for the rest of the game. LOVE the Cardinals!!!!

    • Right and Left Field Loge

      -

Loge Level Outfield seating shares the same 200 level tier as the Club Level seats, but does not have access to club amenities.

On the right field side, sections 235-240 are referred to as the 1st Base Loge (closer to first base), while sections 228-234 are known as the Right Field Loge (closer to right field).

Sections 228 and 229 are located in fair territory behind the right field wall, but few balls ever reach these seats.

On the left field side, sections 261-265 are known as the 3rd Base Loge (closer to 3rd base) while sections 267-272 are called the Left Field Loge (closer to left field). Sections 271 and 272 are located in fair play behind the left field wall.

All fans at Busch Stadium will earn a free Big Mac if a home run lands in section 272 (the Big Mac Land section).

The last few rows of Loge Level seating will be some of the best options for finding shade during the hot summer games in St. Louis.

    • "Just OK"

      (Section 230) - -

There was nothing too phenomenal about these seats. The view towards homeplate is unobstructed, but just average since you're pretty far back. And the angle towards home isn't great, so you do have to turn your head to see the action. Can't see all of RF without standing.

    • "The wall in front blocks the view"

      (Section 263) - -

When you get further down the line on the 200 level, the railing in front of you changes from bars to a solid wall. And it makes a huge difference. You can't see through the wall, leaving parts of the field obstructed when you sit in Row 1. Do yourself a favor and avoid Row 1 down the line. Save ...
