View Level

(2026 Review) - Upper Deck Seating: Includes all 300 Level sections at Oracle Park.    Scenic Views: Many seats feature views of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding landscape.    Best Home Plate Views: Sections 313–318 offer the most centered perspective.    Two Seating Types: Front rows are View Box (lettered rows) and upper rows are View Reserve (numbered rows).    Sunny Sections: Sections 332–336 in left field receive the most sun during afternoon games.    Who Should Sit Here  The View Level is a great option for fans looking for affordable tickets with impressive scenery around Oracle Park. While these seats sit high above the field, the elevated vantage point allows fans to take in both the game and the famous waterfront views that make Oracle Park unique.  These sections are especially appealing for fans who enjoy ballpark atmosphere and views of the Bay Area skyline as much as the on-field action.  View Level Location & Sections  The View Level refers to all 300 Level sections at Oracle Park, located on the highest seating tier in the stadium.  The name “View Level” refers less to the baseball sightlines and more to the beautiful surrounding scenery, including views of the San Francisco Bay, the Bay Bridge, and nearby mountains.  Sections 313–318, located behind home plate, typically offer the best field views on this level.  Each section is split into two seating areas:  Lettered rows (View Box) at the front of the section    Numbered rows (View Reserve) located up the stairs behind the entrance tunnel    Entrances are located above Row D, separating the lower lettered rows from the upper numbered rows.  View Box vs View Reserve  View Box Seats  The lettered rows at the front of each section are known as View Box seats. Despite the name, these are not traditional box seats with additional amenities.  However, they are desirable because they:  Sit closer to the field    Require shorter walks to the concourse    Provide better sightlines compared to higher rows    View Reserve Seats  The numbered rows behind the section entrance are known as View Reserve seats.  These rows sit higher in the section and are often valued for their spectacular views of the Bay Area, especially on the third base side of the stadium.  Shade + Sun Considerations  The sunniest seats at Oracle Park are located in the View Level sections down the left field line.  Sections 332–336 are particularly exposed during late afternoon games, receiving direct sunlight for much of the game.  Fans hoping to avoid the sun should consider sections closer to home plate or along the first base side, which tend to see shade earlier.

View Level Outfield (Baseball)

- Outfield view level sections will have some of the furthest views of the field, and seats on the third base side will be exposed to the sun for the longest during day games. Sections closer to the infield on the left field side will have the best views of McCovey Cove, while the right field side will have better views of the Bay Bridge and scoreboard in left center field. Lettered rows (A-G) in the view level are also known as View Box seats, while numbered rows are View Reserve. Neither area receives special amenities or benefits.

View Level Sideline (Football)

- View Level Sideline seats offer a picturesque view of the San Francisco Bay. Rows in the View Level are labeled 1-18. These seats also offer a very good view of the scoreboard next to Section 142.

Fan Reviews

Great Cheap Seats Row 1 is actually the second row in Section 328 as there is a row 00. The view is good although you are not able to see into the left field corner. If you stand up you can see the Giants bull pen. Concessions are easy to reach as are the restrooms. The view of the field is good. If you want a beautiful view of the background of the Bay Bridge, then I'd advise moving sections toward home plate. If you're there to see the game and not bust your budget, then these are good seats.

Decent seats For a day game, you will get blasted by the sun the entire game. Make sure to take a hat. I'm 6'4 with long legs so it's not the best seat bigger people. Field looks further in pictures, it's not as bad in person. If you get these for a cheap price it's worth it but not if it's the same price to sit lower. As a heads up for day games, the 3rd base to right field section 200 is the only place that gets shade all game. Go Giants!

View Box 328 I really like the View Box seats. There are only 4 rows, so it's a more intimate feeling than the View Reserve sections. Being in the front row is nice, once you get beyond the railing. Being able to stretch your legs and having nobody in front of you, I like that! View is really good. No foul balls up here, too far out in left!

Upper Reserved Hey, it was Opening Day! Row one is actually the second row in this section which has a Row 00. View is good, but you cannot see into the left field corner, and have to stand up to see the Giants bull pen. But that's a small price to pay for the good deals you can find in this section. Budget friendly for sure.

Seating and Ticket Q&A

Are tickets in VB328, Row A box seats?

Verified by an RYS expert

The VB on the ticket stands for View Box, which are narrow sections that are located directly in front of upper deck seating, but they are not normal box seats.

View Box 328 only has 3 rows, and row A is the front row of the section. This section is considered a box because it is small and overhangs the seats below, but it does not come with any amenities like premium box seating.
