The seats had a great seating angle facing towards the pitchers mound and home plate, but the railings are a huge distraction from where I was. If I sat back naturally in the seat, the railing right in front would block out the back of the batters box and was incredibly annoying to have right there in my field of vision. It left me leaning forward quite a bit to get a decent view of the field. Sitting back in the seat was great when I wasn't actually watching the game as I could stretch my legs out through the railing and was comfortable, but that was short lived as I couldn't see much unless I was all the way forward.
There are cool views of the mountains in the background, and I could also see the Honda Center which was fun, but the railing truly ruins the view of the game from this front row. Next time I'll sit a few rows higher so I don't have to deal with that being an issue.

However, the elevated position provides a wide view of the entire field, which some fans prefer for following defensive positioning and overall game flow. Seats located behind home plate and near the infield offer the most balanced sightlines. Shade & Seating Strategy Shade coverage varies significantly depending on row and section. The best shaded seats in the View Level are typically found in the upper rows of the 500 Level, particularly Row L and higher, which sit underneath the roof. However, these seats are also the farthest from the field and require the longest walk up the stairs.
