RYS Expert Reviews

Field MVP Seats

(2026 Review) - Elevated Infield Perspectives: Positioned approximately 10 rows from the field, offering a centered, "big-picture" view of the diamond.    Premium Comfort: Features oversized, padded chairs designed for superior comfort during long matchups.    In-Seat Wait Service: Mobile ordering and in-seat delivery are typically available, allowing fans to avoid concourse lines.    Mid-Tier Premium Pricing: Generally priced lower than the adjacent Legends and Champions Suites while maintaining elite sightlines.    Who Should Sit Here  Field MVP seats are for fans who want a high-end, comfortable experience without the ultra-premium cost of the Legends Suites. These seats are ideal for those who prioritize practical amenities—like extra padding and a shorter walk to concessions—over all-inclusive fine dining.  Where These Seats Are Located  Field MVP seating spans Sections 115 through 125, wrapping around the infield from behind the visitors' dugout to the home dugout.  Field MVP Club (Rows 1–10): The front tier of these sections. These seats put you at eye-level with the infielders and the pitcher's mound.    Field MVP (Rows 11 and Above): These rows sit directly behind the Club tier. Despite being slightly further back, they are highly sought after for their shade advantages.    Logistics: These sections are located on the main Field Level concourse. For those with Field MVP Club tickets that include lounge access, the entry to the Ford Field MVP Club Lounge is located directly behind home plate.    Field View & Perspective  From this area, you are high enough to see over the dugout but low enough to feel integrated into the game.  Sightline Clarity: The views are centered on the most critical parts of the action—the batter's box and the pitcher's mound. You avoid the "angle distortion" common in the baseline or corner sections.    The Elevation Advantage: Sitting roughly 10–25 rows back allows you to track the flight of the ball better than the front-row seats, which can sometimes have a flattened perspective.    Shade Advantage: Because of the overhang from the 200 level, Row 11 and higher are shielded from the sun much earlier in the day than the "Club" rows down in front.    Things to Know & Pro-Tips  Verify Club Access: "Field MVP Club" (Rows 1–10) doesn't always guarantee lounge access on the secondary market. If you want the climate-controlled lounge and complimentary snacks, double-check the ticket details specifically for "Ford Field MVP Club Lounge Access."    The Row 11 "Sweet Spot": Row 11 is widely considered the best value in the building. It is the first row likely to be shaded and remains significantly cheaper than Row 10 just a few feet in front of it.    Amenities: For those with lounge access, the Ford Field MVP Club provides complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at a private upscale bar.
