-
Assigned Standing Spaces: Unlike the roam-anywhere Pinstripe Pass, these tickets assign you a specific section and a numbered "S" spot (e.g., Row 17S).
-
Weather-Protected Views: Located deep under the overhangs of the level above, providing 100% protection from rain and direct sun.
-
Integrated Drink Rails: Every assigned space includes a physical railing for food and beverages, acting as your personal "table.
-
The "Tunnel Vision" Trade-off: The deep overhang limits vertical sightlines; you will lose sight of high fly balls and the sky.
Who Should Sit Here
Standing Room Only is for fans who want a guaranteed spot to watch the game at a fraction of the cost of a seat. It is a "one-of-a-kind" experience for the fan who prefers to be on their feet and likes the social convenience of being steps away from the bars and bathrooms. This is not recommended for fans who need to sit, those with limited mobility, or purists who want to track high fly balls into the Bronx night.
Standing Room Only Locations
Yankee Stadium is one of the few MLB venues that treats SRO as a reserved section. These spaces are found on the two primary levels:
-
Field Level (100 Level): These spaces are located on a raised platform at the very back of the 100-level sections. They offer the closest proximity to the diamond.
-
Main Level (200 Level): These are situated behind the 200-level sections. While higher up, they provide a better overall view of the infield.
Because these standing locations are at the absolute rear of the sections, you are tucked under the floor of the tier above, making this one of the shadiest and driest areas in the stadium.
Field View & Angles
The view from the SRO rails is unique, offering a "concave" perspective of the field.
-
Eye-Level Comfort: The standing rails are set at a height that allows most fans to lean comfortably while maintaining a direct line of sight to the pitcher’s mound.
-
The "Overhang" Obstruction: The primary trade-off is "tunnel vision." Because the roof of the level above is so close, your vertical view is cut off. You can see the entire infield and the outfield fences, but you cannot see the top of the stadium or the trajectory of high-arcing fly balls.
-
Baseline Perspective: Most SRO sections are located along the baselines, offering a classic side-angle view of the action.
