A heavy dose of afternoon sun

The seats are slightly angled towards the infield, pointing more towards second base instead of center field (which is where I would have been facing had the seats not been angled at all). But it wasn't quite enough of a tilt as I was still looking to my left to follow the game. Legroom up here isn't the best for taller fans, but there are cupholders mounted to the backs of the seats in front, which is a nice perk to have on the upper level.
But be prepared for a good amount of sun during late afternoon games as the roof above can do little to block out the sun as it begins to set. With the sun beating down during the late afternoon, it got pretty warm in the seats, and the lack of breeze wasn't helping either.

View Level

View Level sections at Angel Stadium are the highest and farthest seats. When purchasing tickets in this area, pay close attention to the row and section you're considering. 400s Sections vs. 500s Sections labeled in the 400s are known as Lower View Seats, while the 500s are known as Upper View Seats. These sections share an entrance tunnel which comes in at the top of 400s and the front of the 500s. From the entrance tunnel you'll walk down the stairs to seats in the 400 Level. Row A is at the front and has sitelines that are similar to the Luxury Suites located below. Each section has roughly ten rows of seats. All rows in the 500 Level are located up the stairs. Each section has 20 rows of seats and the top half (rows L and above) is underneath the roof. Shaded Seats in the View Level The best shaded seats in this area of the ballpark are located in the upper-most rows of the 500 Level. Unfortunately, these are also the farthest seats from the field and require the longest walk up the stairs. If you don't want to sit at the top of the 500s, consider sections behind home plate and near the infield. These seats will be shaded well before sections in the outfield.

If you look at the pictures, you'll notice the big handrail that separates the sections is blocking the view of homeplate. It's definitely a distraction, but it's a lot easier to deal with than the railing confronting the first three rows. It's definitely not ideal, but it's not going to totally rui...
