Terrace Level Seating

(2026 Review) - 300 Level Seating: Also known as the Terrace Level.    Better Views Than 400 Level: Stronger sightlines than Grandstand sections.    No Staircase Entry Required: Easier access compared to upper levels.    Not Covered by the Roof: Limited overhead protection.    Home Run Territory in the Outfield: Sections 305, 306, 333, and 334.    Who Should Sit Here  The Terrace Level at Yankee Stadium is a strong option for fans who want a higher vantage point without moving into the uppermost 400-level seats. These sections work well for fans looking for a balanced view at a more moderate price point, especially compared to lower-level premium seating.  Terrace Level Location & Details  The Terrace Level includes all 300-level sections and shares a concourse with the 400-level Grandstand sections.  While the two levels are accessed from the same concourse, there are key differences:  Terrace Level seats offer noticeably stronger sightlines than the Grandstand level above.    Unlike the 400 Level, the Terrace does not require climbing a staircase to reach most sections.    Accessible seating is available at the back of the sections.    These seats are not covered by the roof structure.    Most 300-level sections contain approximately ten rows, with Row 1 located at the front. Section entrances are positioned at the top row.  Sections 317-321 behind home plate are part of the Jim Beam Suites and include additional amenities.  Views from the Terrace Level  From the 300 Level, fans get a comfortable elevated view of the field without being as high as the Grandstand.  Behind home plate, these sections provide a strong perspective of pitch location and defensive positioning. In the outfield, Sections 305, 306, 333, and 334 sit in prime home-run territory down the foul-lines.  Because the Terrace Level is not covered, shade varies by time of day. In general, shaded seating is more common in the higher Grandstand level than in the 300s.  Our Favorite Terrace Level Sections  Sections 318 and 322 sit just outside the Jim Beam Suite sections and offer nearly identical views for often a fraction of the cost.  These are the closest non-club Terrace sections to home plate, making them a strong value option for fans who want a centered perspective without paying club-level pricing.

Terrace Outfield (Baseball)

- Terrace level seats in the outfield run down both baselines and wrap around into home run territory. Your experience will differ based on the section you choose. Here's a rundown of pros and cons: 310-312, 328-329: Closest views; poor angle to home plate 307-309, 331-332: Decent angle to home plate; far away from the infield 305-306, 333-334: Cool view from home run porch; very far from home plate Because of the suite level that separates them, the front rows of the Terrace level are twice as high up as the front of the Main (200) Level.  On the positive side, these sections have ten or fewer rows, and there are plenty of nearby concession stands, beer stands and restroom options on each side of the field.

Fan Reviews

Excellent Seats The seats in section 311 had a very good view of the field. You could watch the whole ballgame clearly and even see the numbers on the players back. The only think you can't see if you're sitting in rows 8-10 is a small part of foul territory. Also a wire that holds up the net behind home plate runs down the first base line and may confuse you with the foul line- yet, this still should not interfere the the actual game.

I also recommend coming to sit in this section during the evening because there is no shade covering any part of the section, which shouldn't matter if you're coming to see the game at night. The restrooms were a little far away from where I sat- around home run territory. This is probably the only thing I did not like about the section.

The concessions were literally right behind you, including "Nathan's Hot dogs", "Papa John's", and just regular concessions where you could get a pretzel or a soda or something like that.

I also found there was nothing wrong with the crowd in this area. They would cheer as usual if the Yankees did something, but they wouldn't yell anything out that should prevent any kids from coming here.

So, to summarize this, I found the view great (and at a respectable height to see the whole stadium) the crowd fine, and the concessions right there. The prices of the tickets I thought were also at a very good deal.

Seating and Ticket Q&A

Are any of the rows in Section 311 covered at Yankee Stadium?

Verified by an RYS expert

Unfortunately there is no overhead coverage in any of the seating rows in Section 311 at Yankee Stadium. The 300 level seats are some of the most exposed areas in the stadium, but you can find much better coverage and protection on the upper level in the back half of the 400 level sections just above.
