The cheapest tickets to a Pistons game are generally found in the upper level behind either basket. While these seats aren't as desirable as seats along the sidelines, if you know which seats to avoid and which to target, you can end up with some pretty good deals.
You'll almost always want to avoid sections 208 and 223 which are located directly behind either basket. You'll be able to see the other end clearly, but sometimes it can be difficult to see if a basket is made on the hoop nearest you.
Each section features roughly 19 rows of seats with the best views coming in the first four rows. Those seats are located just a few feet above 100 level sections and have comparable views at a fraction of the price. By sitting in the first few rows, you'll also be close to the entry tunnel located near row 4. Sitting close to the tunnel will prevent you from having to walk up and down the stairs each time you enter and exit your section.
