View Level

(2026 Review) - Most Affordable Tickets: Typically the cheapest seats for Royals games.    Sections 401–439: Located on the highest seating level in the stadium.    Multiple Seating Types: Includes View Box, View Reserved, and View Outfield sections.    Great Stadium Perspective: Elevated vantage point allows fans to see the entire field and ballpark.    Convenient Amenities: Sections 419–421 sit near concessions, restrooms, and the Captain Morgan Bar.    Who Should Sit Here  View Level seats are a good option for fans looking for budget-friendly tickets while still enjoying the full stadium atmosphere. These seats are popular with families, groups, and fans who want a complete view of the field without paying lower-level prices.  View Level Location & Details  The View Level is the highest seating tier at Kauffman Stadium and includes Sections 401 through 439.  This level stretches across the entire upper bowl of the stadium and features a wide range of seating options and price points.  Access to each section is typically located near Row J, meaning fans seated closer to Row A will walk down roughly ten stairs to reach their seats, while those in the upper rows may walk up as many as twenty stairs.  Seats closest to the entrance rows offer the shortest walk to and from the concourse.  Views from the View Level  Despite being the highest seats in the stadium, the View Level provides a wide and comfortable view of the entire field.  The elevated vantage point allows fans to easily follow the action while also enjoying views of the fountains and the full layout of Kauffman Stadium.  Sections 419–421 are especially popular because of their home plate views and proximity to nearby concessions, restrooms, and the Captain Morgan Bar.  View Box vs. View Reserved vs. View Outfield  There are three main seating groupings on the View Level.  View Box Seats (Sections 408–432, Rows A–L) These seats offer the best views on the View Level because they are positioned in the lower rows of the section and closer to the field.  View Reserved Seats (Sections 409–431, Rows M and Above) Located higher in the section, these seats are typically cheaper than the View Box seats. Fans hoping to minimize stairs should try to sit as close to Row M as possible.  View Outfield Seats (Sections 401–407 and 433–439) These sections sit near the edges of the upper deck along the outfield. Because of the distance from home plate, they are usually the least expensive seats in the stadium and are often sparsely filled except during major games or sellouts.

Fan Reviews

Very Pleased With These Seats This was a Saturday night game with the White Sox in town, and there wasn't an empty seat to be found. This was especially true in the upper deck where the prices were relatively affordable for a weekend game.

I found the view to be very good. Despite being in the upper deck, I didn't feel like we were that far from the field. Being in a double-letter row is a different story. But I purposely chose row J because I knew the view should be OK and there wouldn't be many stairs to walk.

With the packed crowd, virtually no legroom and "healthy" individuals at the end of the aisle, it was a bit of a chore to get out of the row. But once you get out, you have one or two stairs to walk to the concourse. Concession selection and quality is not so good. If you get the blue cheese fries, ask em to go easy on the blue cheese. It was about an inch of goo before I got to the fries. Another tip: in the summertime, go with a small beer. I don't chug my beers at baseball games and the souvenir cup got warm quickly.
