Crown Club Have to be the Best Seats for a Royals Game
I love visiting Kauffman Stadium and exploring the different areas of the ballpark, but this was my first time in the Crown Club, and it was a wonderful experience.
Pre-game: We arrived about 45 minutes early, were directed to the Club and were led to a table. A waitress took drink orders and we headed to the buffet. It was a good spread, but was oddly missing some KC BBQ. All food and drink are included with your ticket.
Gametime: A large wall of grab-and-go snacks, treats and drinks are right at the entrance to the seats. This is a nice touch for grabbing something quickly. Once at our seats, there was a waiter and a menu with more traditional ballpark food. Service came by about every two innings.
Seats: We had a perfect night, but these are mesh seats meant to stay cool in the heat. View was outstanding from behind home plate. In Crown 1 we were directly next to the visitor dugout. An outstanding spot if you're a fan coming from out-of-town.
Overall, top-notch seats as expected. The rest of the ballpark was at about 20% capacity, but these seemed to be completely sold out and filled in.
