SRO Locations + Details
Standing Room Only areas at Kauffman Stadium are located in various spots around the ballpark, though the most popular SRO location sits beyond the wall in right-center field.
Because these tickets do not include a reserved seat, fans are free to stand within the designated SRO areas throughout the game.
The right-center field location places fans near the iconic Kauffman Stadium fountains, which can provide a refreshing mist during warm summer games.
Standing Room Views
Views from the right-center field SRO area provide a unique outfield perspective of the game.
While fans will be farther from home plate compared to traditional seating sections, the area still allows fans to follow the action while enjoying one of the most recognizable features of the ballpark — the fountains.
For many fans, the appeal of SRO tickets is the ability to enjoy the stadium atmosphere and move around the ballpark throughout the game.

Right center standing room
For a Sunday afternoon game, the center field standing room area was about 1-2 people deep. Wasn't too difficult to sneak in and see the field if you're alone. In a larger group, get there a bit early and designate just one person to get concessions.
Close to Boulevard and Sweet Baby Ray's, so you've got some better options than just the standard fare on the main concourse.
Definitely more crowded for postseason games, so it's all about timing and getting a spot in front. The view will be the same pretty much no matter where you stand.

Seating and Ticket Q&A
How does SRO work for ALDS game 5 tomorrow?
This question was asked about a Royals/Astros ALDS game in 2015.
Please review our SRO page at Kauffman Stadium for general information and photos.
You'll want to be in line early so you can enter the stadium as soon as the gates open at 5:00 pm. Once you enter, you'll want to know which area of the ballpark you want to target. There are standing areas behind many of the outfield sections and the ones in right-center and near the Fountain Bar are most popular. If you're there early enough, you shouldn't have to run to secure a spot.
General parking is $20 for the 2015 ALDS with prices rising to $25 for the ALCS and World Series should the Royals make it that far.
