Field and Outfield Boxes

(2026 Review) - Field-Level Seating: Located along the outfield portions of the 100 Level.    Affordable Lower-Level Option: Cheaper than nearby Dugout Box seats closer to home plate.    Close to the Field: Front rows provide excellent proximity to the action.    Bullpen Views: Royals bullpen sits near Section 148, visiting bullpen near Section 107.    Sun Exposure: Seats down the right field line receive heavy sun during afternoon games.    Who Should Sit Here  Field Boxes and Outfield Boxes are a great choice for fans who want to sit close to the field without paying premium prices for seats near home plate. These sections are especially appealing for fans hoping to catch a foul ball or watch bullpen activity up close.  Location + Details  On the Field Level at Kauffman Stadium, sections located farther from home plate are commonly referred to as Field Boxes and Outfield Boxes.  These sections provide lower-level seating along the baselines and outfield corners, offering fans the opportunity to sit close to the field at a lower price point compared to the Dugout Box seats closer to home plate.  The first row label varies by section, so fans looking to sit closest to the field should pay attention to how rows are labeled when purchasing tickets.  One downside to sitting in these areas is distance from the concourse. Seats closest to the field may require a longer walk to reach concessions or restrooms because access tunnels are spaced out along the lower bowl.  Views from the Field & Outfield Boxes  These seats offer classic field-level views from near the outfield corners and baselines.  Fans sitting in the front rows will feel very close to the action, especially during plays developing along the foul lines or in the corner outfield areas.  Because these sections sit farther from home plate than the infield seats, the viewing angle can be more angled toward the outfield, but many fans still enjoy the proximity to the field.     Bullpen & Foul Ball Locations  Fans interested in bullpen activity or catching a foul ball may want to target specific sections.  Royals bullpen: Located near Section 148    Visiting bullpen: Located near Section 107    For foul ball opportunities, sections 111–115 and 140–144 tend to provide some of the best chances to catch a ball during the game.  Sun Exposure  Fans sitting down the right field line, particularly in Sections 146–148, should be prepared for direct sun exposure during afternoon and early evening games.  These sections offer little to no shade, making hats, sunscreen, or sunglasses a good idea during summer games.  Protective Netting  Like most modern ballparks, protective netting extends in front of many sections near home plate and down the baselines.  While this helps improve fan safety, it may slightly impact the view for seats located directly behind the netting.
