    • Sun Moon Deck

      -

Right Field Home Run Territory: Located in Sections 140–146 in right field.    Sun Deck by Day, Moon Deck by Night: Nicknamed based on the time of the game.    Great for Batting Practice: One of the best areas to catch home run balls during BP.    Bullpen Views Nearby: Close to both the Reds and visiting team bullpens.    Social Outfield Location: Near the Bow Tie Bar and Riverwalk area.    Who Should Sit Here  The Sun / Moon Deck is ideal for fans who enjoy the energy of outfield seating and the chance to catch a home run ball. These sections are especially popular with families, groups of friends, and fans who like to move around the ballpark and explore nearby social areas.  Location & Seating Details  The Sun and Moon Deck at Great American Ball Park is located in Sections 140 through 146 along the right field wall.  These sections sit in prime home run territory, making them one of the most exciting places in the stadium when a ball is hit deep to right field.  Fans enter these sections through tunnels located at Row H, and from there walk either up or down the aisle to reach their seats.  Because of the outfield location, these sections are also positioned near several social areas of the stadium, including the Bow Tie Bar and the Riverwalk.  Views from the Sun / Moon Deck  From this vantage point, fans get a right field perspective looking toward the infield and home plate.  The angle provides a fun view of plays developing in the outfield while also giving fans the opportunity to track fly balls headed toward the right field stands.  Another highlight of this location is the ability to watch activity in the nearby bullpens. Fans can easily walk over to the left field bullpen area to see Reds pitchers warming up, while the visiting bullpen is located behind Section 140.  Batting Practice & Home Run Chances  The Sun / Moon Deck is one of the best spots in the ballpark for batting practice.  Fans who arrive when gates open often have a chance to catch home run balls hit during BP, as Great American Ball Park is known for being a hitter-friendly stadium where balls regularly reach the outfield seating.  Prepare for Sun  As the name suggests, the Sun Deck receives significant sunlight during day games. Fans sitting in these sections should plan for direct sun exposure, especially during summer afternoon games. Bringing sunscreen and staying hydrated can help make the experience more comfortable.  For shaded seating options check out our Great American Ballaprk Shade & Cover Finder!
