RYS Expert Reviews

Right Field Roof Boxes

(2026 Review) - Upper Deck First Base Side: Located down the first base line on the top deck of Fenway Park.    Compact Sections: Each section features just eight rows (A–G) for easier access in and out.    Sunny Seating Area: Seats are uncovered and receive significant sun exposure during day games.    Unique Monster View: One of the better upper-level vantage points of the Green Monster in left field.    Who Should Sit Here  Right Field Roof Boxes are best for fans looking for a budget-friendly seat in the upper deck who prefer smaller sections and a quieter environment compared to the busy lower-level concourses. These seats are less about perfect sightlines and more about enjoying the atmosphere of Fenway Park.  Roof Boxes Location + Details  Right Field Roof Boxes are located along the first base line on the top deck of Fenway Park.  These sections sit high above the field and extend down the line toward the right field corner. Compared to many other seating areas in the ballpark, the sections here are relatively small, which helps make getting in and out of the row easier.  Each section includes eight rows labeled A through G, creating a more compact seating layout than many other upper-level areas.  Because of the smaller section sizes and lighter foot traffic, concession and restroom lines near these sections are often shorter than in the more crowded lower levels of the stadium.  Views from Right Field Roof Boxes  The viewing angle from the Right Field Roof Boxes is one of the biggest drawbacks of these seats.  Because they sit far down the first base line and high above the field, the angle toward home plate can feel steep and distant compared to other seating areas. Fans seated here may find it more difficult to follow pitches or close plays around home plate.  However, these seats do offer a clear and unique view across the ballpark, including a great look at the Green Monster in left field and much of the outfield.  Additional Roof Box Notes  Standing Room Only areas are located behind the Roof Box sections.    These seats are not covered, leaving fans exposed to sun and weather.    Day games can bring constant sun exposure to this part of the stadium.    The elevated location offers a wide view across Fenway Park and toward the Green Monster.

Seating Notes
