Who Should Sit Here

The Right Field Roof Deck is ideal for fans looking for a social, laid-back game experience rather than traditional stadium seating. It’s especially popular for groups of friends, small gatherings, and fans who enjoy standing or moving around while watching the game.

Right Field Roof Deck Location & Details

The Right Field Roof Deck is located on the upper level above the right field seating area at Fenway Park.

This relatively newer addition to the stadium was designed to create a social gathering space with multiple seating options and a large bar area. The layout combines traditional seating alternatives with standing areas to give fans flexibility during the game.

The area includes three primary ticket options, each offering a slightly different experience.

Views from the Roof Deck

From the Roof Deck, fans enjoy an elevated perspective of the field from the right field side of the ballpark.

The view looks diagonally across the field toward home plate and left field, allowing fans to see much of the action unfold from above the outfield.

Because the seating is located high along the first base side, the viewing angle toward home plate can feel somewhat distant compared to infield seats. However, the elevated height provides a wide look across the entire stadium and a clear view of the Green Monster in left field.

Sun Exposure

The Roof Deck is completely uncovered, leaving fans exposed to the elements throughout the game.

This area receives constant sun during day games, and even fans attending night games may want to bring hats or sunglasses as sunlight can linger during the early innings.

Roof Deck Seating Options

The Right Field Roof Deck features three different ticket types.

Roof Deck Tables

The first two rows of the Roof Deck consist of table seating.

Each table includes four seats arranged around a shared table, giving fans a setup that feels more like sitting at a restaurant table while watching the game.

These tables are especially popular with groups and families, offering a comfortable place to set down food and drinks.

Barstool Seating

Located directly behind the tables, the barstool seats feature high-top seating positioned along a drink rail.

These seats overlook the field and offer a casual viewing experience that works well for pairs or small groups of friends.

Roof Deck Standing Room Only

Standing Room Only tickets are also available for the Roof Deck.

Fans with SRO tickets do not receive a dedicated seat, but they will have access to standing space near the main Roof Deck bar area. Many standing positions include ledge space for drinks and personal items, making it easier to enjoy the game while standing.

Because the standing areas sit close to the bar and social spaces, these tickets are especially popular with fans who prefer a more social and flexible viewing experience.
