RYS Expert Reviews

Terrace Level

(2026 Review) - Odd-Numbered Lower Level Sections: Terrace Level seats are the odd-numbered sections on the lower level of Camden Yards.    Elevated Lower Bowl Views: The first row sits 25–30 rows behind the field, offering a comfortable viewing height.    Great Weather Protection: Most sections sit under the Club Level overhang, providing shade and rain protection.    Easy Concourse Access: Sections are accessed via short stairways from the shared Field Level concourse.    Strong Value Seating: Known for excellent sightlines and protection from the elements.    Who Should Sit Here  Terrace Level seats are a great choice for fans who want excellent views of the field with added protection from sun and rain. These sections are especially popular with fans attending hot summer games or uncertain weather days thanks to the Club Level overhang.  Terrace Level Location & Details  On the Orioles seating chart, Terrace Level sections are the odd-numbered sections on the lower seating bowl.  These seats sit behind the Field Level sections, providing a slightly elevated perspective of the field. The first row of Terrace seating begins roughly 25–30 rows behind the field, creating a comfortable viewing height that many fans prefer.  Access to Terrace seats begins from the main concourse shared with the Field Level. From there, fans walk to the section walkway and take a short staircase down into the Terrace seating rows.  Views from Terrace Level Seats  Terrace Level seats offer excellent sightlines thanks to their elevated position above the Field Level.  From this height, fans can comfortably follow the entire field while still feeling close to the action. Many fans find this perspective ideal for tracking pitch location and watching plays develop around the diamond.  Because the sections are positioned slightly higher than Field Level seats, they can also offer better views over fans seated in front of them.  Best Covered & Shaded Seats  One of the biggest advantages of the Terrace Level is protection from the elements.  Most Terrace Level sections sit under the Club Level overhang, helping shield fans from both sun and rain.  Exceptions include:  Sections 33–39 behind home plate    Sections 1–9 in right field    These areas have less overhead coverage and may be more exposed to the elements.  Fans attending hot summer games should consider Terrace sections 43–65, which tend to provide the best shade during afternoon games.  Outfield Terrace sections — particularly those in right field — receive the most sun exposure and can become quite warm during day games.  Other Seating Considerations  When choosing Terrace Level seats, the side of the field can influence both views and sun exposure.  First Base Side  Located behind the Orioles dugout    Third Base Side  Offers better views of the main scoreboard    Typically moves into shade earlier during afternoon and evening games
