If you thrive on a loud, high-energy crowd, this is one of the best places in the stadium to take it all in.  Lower Sideline Seating Details  This location sits on the lowest level of seating behind the sideline. Sections along the sideline have 47 numbered rows, with lettered rows in front of some sections. For Nebraska games, sections 9, 10, and 11 are designated student sections.  Views from the Lower Sideline  Being on the lowest level along the sideline puts you close to the field for one of the best vantage points offered at Memorial Stadium. Be aware that pillars at row 40 obstruct the seat view from the higher rows, so sightlines suffer the further back you go.  Sun, Shade & Cover  Rows 40 and above are covered, which can be tempting on a hot or rainy day — but remember that pillars at row 40 obstruct the view from those higher rows. Weigh the cover against the sightline trade-off before choosing a seat up top.

You will not be able to see over the players on the sideline from these seats. Pillars are located at row 40 in sideline sections of the lower level. This creates obstructed views for many seats in rows 41 and above.
