Drink Rail Seats
(2026 Review) -
Top of Mezzanine Sections: Top row (row 5) of most Mezzanine sections, plus select spots on the upper deck at the north end.
Extra Space: Wider, moveable chairs with more room side-to-side and front-to-back than standard stadium seats.
Personal Ledge: Each seat sits at a small rail — ideal for resting drinks, food, and phones.
Best Sections: M11 and M28 sit near center court and center ice for a well-balanced view.
Know Before You Buy: Some rails — especially in the Mezzanine — can have partially limited sightlines.
Who Should Sit Here
The Drink Rails at Little Caesars Arena are for fans who value comfort and elbow room over sitting in a traditional seat. If you like having space to spread out, a ledge for your food and drink, and a moveable chair, these rails deliver a more relaxed way to take in a game or event.
Drink Rail Seating Details
Rail seating is located in the top row (row 5) of most Mezzanine sections and in select locations of the upper deck on the north end of the arena. Rather than a fixed stadium seat, you get a moveable chair positioned at a small ledge, with more space in every direction. Sections M11 and M28 are the standout choices, sitting near center court and center ice on both sides of the arena.
Views from the Drink Rails
Because the rails sit at the back of their sections, they offer an elevated vantage point over the action. The centered sections M11 and M28 provide an especially balanced perspective. Be aware that some rail seats — particularly in the Mezzanine — can have a limited view; sightlines aren't fully obstructed, but you may not be able to see everything at all times.
Comfort & Extras
Moveable Seating: Freestanding chairs instead of fixed stadium seats.
More Legroom: Extra space front-to-back and side-to-side.
Built-In Ledge: A small rail for drinks, food, and phones.
Mezzanine Corner (Basketball)
- Corner seating on the Mezzanine level is a great spot to enjoy the optimal viewing height of the second seating tier, and will be more budget friendly than the neighboring sideline options. The smaller seating sections help to avoid long walks between the seats and the concourse, and being in the corner of the arena allows you to limit those more difficult views which can be common when sitting directly behind the baskets. Most Mezzanine sections feature no more than 5 numbered rows of seating in each, with drink rail standing areas at the very top row. We recommend being careful when when considering the drink rail ticket options as the views of the court are limited. Mezzanine sections 5 and 34 are a bit more unique here though, as they feature 5 additional lettered rows of seating which extend closer to the floor than the numbered rows. Seats in these lettered rows offer an interesting experience as they sit lower in the arena and beside a private suite, however the basket will become more a viewing distraction due to being further from mid court.
Mezzanine Corner (Hockey)
- Corner seating on the Mezzanine Level will offer fans excellent viewing height at a more affordable ticket price than the premium Mezzanine options closer to center ice. At the south end of the arena, Mezzanine sections 15-17 and 22-24 will keep Wings fans closer to net where the home team attacks twice, and sit just above a ring of private seats just below. On the north end, fans can get a bit closer to the action if sitting in the lettered rows of Mezzanine sections 5 or 34 as these seats extend lower and sit beside the neighboring suites. Although closer to the net where the visitors shoot twice and further from the concourse tunnels, these lettered rows are an excellent option for watching a hockey game. Most corner sections on the Mezzanine are very small, providing a more comfortable atmosphere for watching hockey in Detroit. Just be careful when considering Drink Rail tickets in the Mezzanine Corner, as the views will be limited.
Mezzanine Level
(2026 Review) -
Miidle Tier Seating: Second of three main seating bowls, circling the arena just above the Suite Level and below the upper (200) level.
Fewest Stairs: The smallest bowl, with five or fewer rows per section — easy in and out with minimal climbing.
Best Center Seats: Sections 10-12 and 27-29 sit at center court and center ice, and are part of the Mezzanine Sideline Club for most events.
Concert Note: For end-stage shows, sections M1-M7 and M32-M34 are behind the stage — worth avoiding for a head-on view.
Who Should Sit Here
The Mezzanine Level at Little Caesars Arena is a great fit for fans who want comfortable, low-effort seating. With only a handful of rows per section, you're not fighting a steep climb or the constant flow of people up and down the stairs. It suits anyone who values an easy walk to their seat as much as the view of the game.
Mezzanine Level Seating Details
The Mezzanine circles the arena between the Suite Level below and the upper 200 level above. It's the smallest of the three main bowls, with each section containing five or fewer rows. For basketball and hockey, sections 10-12 and 27-29 are the pick of the level, positioned at center court for Pistons games and center ice for Red Wings games.
Views from the Mezzanine Level
The center-most sections (10-12 and 27-29) deliver the most comfortable views of the action and are tough to beat for Pistons and Red Wings games. For concerts, sections 18-21 give a head-on view from the opposite end of a typical end-stage setup, though some may find it too far away. Sections 8-12 and 27-31 sit closer to the stage but offer a side view. Note that the Red Wings shoot twice toward the net in front of sections M15-M24.
Mezzanine Upgrades
Mezzanine Sideline Club: The center sections (10-12 and 27-29) are part of the Mezzanine Sideline Club for most events, adding extra amenities.
Drink Rails: For a slight upgrade on this level, consider the Drink Rail Seats at the top of select Mezzanine sections.
Seating Notes
- For most hockey hockey games, these seats are located on the end where the visitors shoot twice
For Concerts, Mezzanine 33 May Have a Limited View
Mezzanine 33 is behind the stage or to the side of the stage for most concerts. This may restrict or limit your view of the performance.
