Drink Rail Seats
(2026 Review) -
Top of Mezzanine Sections: Top row (row 5) of most Mezzanine sections, plus select spots on the upper deck at the north end.
Extra Space: Wider, moveable chairs with more room side-to-side and front-to-back than standard stadium seats.
Personal Ledge: Each seat sits at a small rail — ideal for resting drinks, food, and phones.
Best Sections: M11 and M28 sit near center court and center ice for a well-balanced view.
Know Before You Buy: Some rails — especially in the Mezzanine — can have partially limited sightlines.
Who Should Sit Here
The Drink Rails at Little Caesars Arena are for fans who value comfort and elbow room over sitting in a traditional seat. If you like having space to spread out, a ledge for your food and drink, and a moveable chair, these rails deliver a more relaxed way to take in a game or event.
Drink Rail Seating Details
Rail seating is located in the top row (row 5) of most Mezzanine sections and in select locations of the upper deck on the north end of the arena. Rather than a fixed stadium seat, you get a moveable chair positioned at a small ledge, with more space in every direction. Sections M11 and M28 are the standout choices, sitting near center court and center ice on both sides of the arena.
Views from the Drink Rails
Because the rails sit at the back of their sections, they offer an elevated vantage point over the action. The centered sections M11 and M28 provide an especially balanced perspective. Be aware that some rail seats — particularly in the Mezzanine — can have a limited view; sightlines aren't fully obstructed, but you may not be able to see everything at all times.
Comfort & Extras
Moveable Seating: Freestanding chairs instead of fixed stadium seats.
More Legroom: Extra space front-to-back and side-to-side.
Built-In Ledge: A small rail for drinks, food, and phones.
Mezzanine Behind the Net (Hockey)
- Sitting behind the nets on the Mezzanine Level is an excellent choice for fans who want a comfortable spot to watch a hockey game at Little Caesars Arena. The viewing height is ideal for clear sight lines to the ice, and you will rarely need to turn your head at any point between puck drop and the final horn. Most sections have just 5 numbered rows of seating in each, making it a breeze to move between the concourse and your seats. The only spots where you can find a longer walk here is in Mezzanine section 1 or 4, which adds 5 lettered rows of seating closer to the ice for an impressive and unique viewing position. These seats are great for visiting team fans as it gets you closer to the net where the visitors attack twice. Conversely, home team fans will want to be at the south end of the arena (Mezzanine sections 18-21) for a closer position to the net where the Wings attack twice. Most of the Mezzanine sections behind the nets offer a unique Drink Rail ticket option at the top of the section. Fans should be aware however that views from the rail position will be limited.
Mezzanine End (Basketball)
- The most affordable of the Mezzanine options, seating sections here are a good option for fans who prioritize convenience over viewing experience. The majority of Mezzanine End sections have just 5 numbered rows in each, allowing you to move easily between your seat and the amenities on the concourse. At the north end of the arena, Mezzanine sections 1 and 4 are slightly larger and feature 5 additional numbered rows of seating at the very front. To avoid sitting in the direct line behind the baskets, fans will want to search for the lower numbered seats in Mezzanine sections 2 and 19, and the higher numbered seats in Mezzanine sections 3 and 20. Doing so will ensure you don't get stuck on the aisle directly behind the basket, where your view can be very difficult for action at the near basket. Standing drink rail tickets are often available at the top of most Mezzanine End seating, however fans should be aware that these tickets come with a limited view.
Mezzanine End (Concert)
- Looking for a comfortable and convenient spot to enjoy an end stage show at Little Caesars Arena? Begin your ticket search with the end sections on the Mezzanine level. Fans here enjoy comfortable straight away viewing angles of the end stage, while also having one of the more convenient spots for moving to and from the seats thanks to the smaller sections (no more than 5 rows in each). Standing drink rails are found at the top of most sections on the Mezzanine End, offering a popular spot for socializing during a performance. Drink rail tickets are typically much more affordable, but fans should be aware ahead of time that the views from the rails are limited.
Mezzanine Level
(2026 Review) -
Miidle Tier Seating: Second of three main seating bowls, circling the arena just above the Suite Level and below the upper (200) level.
Fewest Stairs: The smallest bowl, with five or fewer rows per section — easy in and out with minimal climbing.
Best Center Seats: Sections 10-12 and 27-29 sit at center court and center ice, and are part of the Mezzanine Sideline Club for most events.
Concert Note: For end-stage shows, sections M1-M7 and M32-M34 are behind the stage — worth avoiding for a head-on view.
Who Should Sit Here
The Mezzanine Level at Little Caesars Arena is a great fit for fans who want comfortable, low-effort seating. With only a handful of rows per section, you're not fighting a steep climb or the constant flow of people up and down the stairs. It suits anyone who values an easy walk to their seat as much as the view of the game.
Mezzanine Level Seating Details
The Mezzanine circles the arena between the Suite Level below and the upper 200 level above. It's the smallest of the three main bowls, with each section containing five or fewer rows. For basketball and hockey, sections 10-12 and 27-29 are the pick of the level, positioned at center court for Pistons games and center ice for Red Wings games.
Views from the Mezzanine Level
The center-most sections (10-12 and 27-29) deliver the most comfortable views of the action and are tough to beat for Pistons and Red Wings games. For concerts, sections 18-21 give a head-on view from the opposite end of a typical end-stage setup, though some may find it too far away. Sections 8-12 and 27-31 sit closer to the stage but offer a side view. Note that the Red Wings shoot twice toward the net in front of sections M15-M24.
Mezzanine Upgrades
Mezzanine Sideline Club: The center sections (10-12 and 27-29) are part of the Mezzanine Sideline Club for most events, adding extra amenities.
Drink Rails: For a slight upgrade on this level, consider the Drink Rail Seats at the top of select Mezzanine sections.
Seating Notes
- The Red Wings shoot twice towards this end of the ice
- Head-on view of the performance for end-stage concerts
