Despite the distance, the elevated position provides a clear view of the entire playing surface from most seats.  Fans should pay particular attention to the lower rows when selecting seats. Rows 1-8 in most 400 Level sections can have slight obstructions caused by the glass staircases and handrails entering the sections. These obstructions are generally less of a concern in Rows 9 and higher.  Views from the 400 Level  Views are more distant than those found on the lower levels, but the elevation provides a good overall perspective of the game. Depending on the location of the staircase, this typically includes seats near Seat 1 or Seat 22, while seats toward the middle of the section tend to have a clearer view.  When Is the Obstruction Most Noticeable?  The glass staircases are relatively easy to see through when they are empty. The obstruction becomes more noticeable when fans are standing or walking along the stairs, particularly during periods of heavy traffic such as:  Before the end of a quarter or half    During commercial breaks    When fans are heading to or returning from the concourse    During other busy moments throughout the game    These obstructions are generally temporary and primarily affect seats immediately adjacent to the staircase.  How to Avoid the Obstruction  Rows 9 and higher are the safest choice, as the additional elevation provides a better view over the staircase and foot traffic.  For lower-row seats, prioritize locations toward the middle of the section and be cautious with seats closest to the staircase entrance.  Best 400 Level Alternative  For fans who want a 400 level seat while minimizing the risk of an obstructed view, Sections 448–450 behind the end zone are a great alternative.  These sections have concourse tunnels located around Row 2 near the middle of the section rather than large staircases running alongside the seating area, resulting in fewer concerns about temporary obstructions.
