Bills Sideline & Visitor Sideline
Looking towards the north sideline - the visitor side of the field.
Club level seats along the south sideline are covered starting in row 6-7.
Showing covered seating in the Jim Kelly Club seats. Like seats on the other side of the field, rows 7 and above provide the best protection.
Despite being mostly covered, seats in sections 206-216 are susceptible to the sun in the late afternoon. Only the highest rows will be shaded all day long.
Less than 10% of seats at Highmark Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. Located on the second level of seating in the corners of the stadium, the 200 Level Corner sections have a good elevation angle allows viewers to see the whole field without any obstruction. The far side of the field can still be difficult to see, but these sections are great for viewing scoring plays in the near endzone.
Sections 226 and 227 in this location are part of the 200 Level Family Zone at Highmark Stadium, meaning that fans in these sections are not allowed to have alcohol and there is much less tolerance for profanity and obnoxious behavior. Sections in this location have 11-18 numbered rows of seating. During the cold late season home games, Sections 217-219 in the northeast corner will see the most sun of any of the sections in this seating location.
200 Level Endzone Seating
The top level behind the endzones of Highmark Stadium is home to the 200 Level Endzone seating location, the highest of any viewing option directly behind the uprights. These seats provide a good angle to the near side of the field, but when the action is on the opposite end, it can be very difficult to follow all the details.
Sections 224 and 225 are part of Family Zone seating on the 200 level of Highmark Stadium, meaning that fans in these sections are not allowed to have alcohol and there is much less tolerance for profanity and obnoxious behavior. Sections by the west endzone are directly in front of the scoreboard, making it difficult to see it without turning completely around, and will also see less sun during a day game at Highmark Stadium. Sections in this seating location have up to 18 rows of seating in each.
Lower Level Corner Seating
In all the corners of the field on the lowest level fans will have some of the most exciting views of touchdowns at the near endzone. However with a lack of elevation in the closest rows, it can often be difficult to follow the action at the opposite end of the field when sitting near field level.
Seating sections in the Lower Level Corner have up to 38 numbered rows of seating in each, with entry tunnels located at the top of each section. During the colder months, sections in the east corner (117-119) will see the most sun during a day game at Highmark Stadium, providing more warmth than any other corner seating area on the lower tier.
Lower Level Endzone Seating
Behind both endzones on the lowest level of seating at Highmark Stadium, sections in the Lower Level Endzone provide fun and exciting views for touchdowns and field goals at the near endzone. Viewing the far end of the field can be difficult though, especially in the seating rows closest to field level.
Fans in the east endzone will have head on views of the videoboard at the west endzone, more exposure to the sun during colder months, are also closer the player entry tunnel located beneath Section 122. Fans on the other end of the field will get the sun at their back earlier, creating a colder option during the winter months.
Sections in the Lower Level Endzone are large, and with 38 numbered rows of seating and the entry tunnels located at the very top of the section, fans near the field can expect long trips to the concourses.
Lower Level Sideline Seating
On the lowest level of seating along the sidelines, these seats are of the closest to the action and in a prime position to see everything that occurs on the field. The sections that are concentrated around the 50 yard line are among the most desirable places to sit in the entire stadium thanks to excellent views of the field.
Sections here are large with most sections featuring 39 numbered rows of seating, while Sections 132-135 are even larger with 52 rows of seating. Entry tunnels are located just above Row 39, leaving the longest walks for fans in the seats closest to the field. Handicap accessible seating can be found at the top of most Lower Level Sideline sections.
Upper Level Sideline Seating
On the highest level of Highmark Stadium along the sidelines is the Upper Level Sideline seating location, where fans will find the furthest view but also the cheapest ticket prices for Bills games. While offering the least desirable views overall, fans can still find decent seats in this area in the sections nearest to the 50 yard line (311-312 and 333-334).
Sections here are large with up to 38 numbered rows of seating, and the entry tunnels are located near the bottom of the sections at row 4. Fans looking for the most amount of sun during a cold winter game will want to search in Sections 314-317 where the sun will shine the longest before setting completely.
