Best Seats For a Concert at Hard Rock Stadium
The most common seating layout at Hard Rock Stadium for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 101, Section 102 and Section 103. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
On the Field: Sections Field A1, Field A2, Field A3 and Field A4 are Field Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, field sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the field layout and the views from each field section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 116, Section 117 and Section 147. The view is not head-on like on the field, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 129, Section 130, Section 131 and Section 132 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 101, Section 102, Section 103 and Section 104. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider field seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst field ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 121 and 143 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 347 and 348.

The overhang at Hard Rock Stadium provides cover to all of the upper level and half of the lower level. In the lower level the overhang extends out to row 12. However, when sitting in the sideline and endzone sections it's better to find seating in rows 15 or higher in case of inclement weather.
The overhang at Hard Rock Stadium will provide good shade to a lot of the sections, as well as protection from inclement weather. However, if it is raining hard, not all rows will be protected, so it is better to sit in the higher rows, especially in the lower level.
More than half of all seats at Hard Rock Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
On the lowest seating tier and in all four corners of the field, sections here are close to the action and will provide a unique perspective from between the sidelines and endzones. Fans will have excellent views of scoring plays at the near endzone, and are also treated to a head on view of the corner videoboards directly across the field.
You can find premium options in the Lower Level Corner as the back portions of Sections 111, 125, 139, and 153 are comprised of terrace seating. Each corner terrace is made up of patio style high-top tables with comfortable swivel seating, offering a unique atmosphere during a football game. Each high-top table seats 4 fans, offering fans an alternative to traditional stadium style seating rows.
If you prefer to be under cover and out of the sun, we recommend sitting in the upper rows as the new roof does not extend all the way to the front rows.
Lower Level Endzone (Football) Seating
The only lower level seating area which doesn't contain premium seating, endzone sections are your best bet for finding a more affordable ticket while staying close to the field.
While the far endzone will be more difficult to view, fans will always have straight away sight lines and won't have to turn their heads at all to follow the game. The two corner videoboards at the far end of the field also provide a nice viewing option for following replays and highlights.
Lower Level Endzone sections have up to 32 numbered rows of seating, with entry tunnels located near the top of the section at Row 27. Sitting higher in the sections here is recommended as you will have a better viewing height to the far end of the field, close access to the entry tunnel, and coverage from the new stadium roof.
Lower Level Sideline (Football) Seating
With close proximity to the field and prime location along both sidelines, you will find some of the best and most expensive tickets in all of Hard Rock Stadium here on the lower tier.
Premium club seating occupies the sections nearest to midfield, with Sections 117-119 belonging to the North Sideline Club (also known as the Hyundai Club), and Sections 145-147 being a part of the 72 Club and Golden Cane Club (the seats are referred to as the 72 Club for Dolphins games, but the same seats are known as the Golden Cane Club for Hurricanes games).
The most affordable seats lower sideline seats will be closer to the goal lines where premium amenities are not available. We recommend opting for seats closer to the top of the seating sections where you not only have better elevation to see the field, but will also be closer to the entry tunnel and have better shade and coverage from the roof above.
Upper Level Corner (Football) Seating
On the top level of Hard Rock Stadium and in all four corners, these upper level seats are unique as they sit beneath the four newly installed videoboards for the 2015 football season. As such, the sections here are much smaller than any other area on the upper seating tier, with some sections having just 2 rows, while the others have up to 14 rows.
Fans here will have an excellent view of the videoboard in the opposite corner, making them a fun and different option on the upper seating tier.
Upper Level Endzone (Football) Seating
The biggest draw to sitting behind the endzones on the upper seating tier is being able to find the most affordable tickets to a Dolphins or Hurricanes game. The far endzone is difficult to view, but thankfully fans have two videoboards in the opposite corners for viewing replays and highlights.
All seats here are fully covered, however we recommend sticking to Rows 3-10 as these will be closest to the entry tunnels located near the front of the sections (at Row 4). Sections in the upper level endzone have as many as 30 numbered rows of seats, leaving long walks to and from the concourse for those near the very top.
Upper Level Sideline (Football) Seating
The Upper Level Sideline is the place to be if you're looking for an affordable seat with a traditional sideline view. The further distance helps to keep prices in the lower tier, however fans can still find very good views in the sections near the 50 yard line (Sections 317-319 and 345-347).
One benefit to sitting on the Upper tier is that you will be fully covered by the new roof above Hard Rock Stadium. Our favorite seats in the Upper Level Sideline are found in rows 4-6 as these keep you close the concourse entry tunnel, and provide good clearance above the safety railing at the front of the seating tier.

Are club seats enclosed on the sides at Sun Life Stadium?
The Club level at Sun Life Stadium is located in the 200 sections just above the lower level seats, and feature traditional stadium style seats rather than being inside an enclosure. These seats are wider and padded for additional comfort, and the sections feature less rows than on the lower and upper levels making for easier access when traveling to and from the seats.
There are no walls which will impede your view in any of the seating rows of these sections, and while a small railing is located just in front of the front row, it is not high enough to cause any significant viewing issues.
How many rows in each section at Hard Rock Stadium?
Each section has a varying amount of rows and seats. Find a section to see row and/or seat numbers.
Is seat number 1 on the left or right side of sections?
As you look towards the field from your seats, lower number seats are on your right.
