Who Should Sit Here
Reserved Seating is ideal for fans who want a guaranteed seat with consistent views and protection from the elements. This area is best for those deciding between proximity, comfort, and price within the pavilion.
Reserved Seating Locations & Layout
At Bethel Woods, all numbered sections within the pavilion offer reserved seating. These sections are fully covered and provide a more traditional concert experience compared to the open lawn.
The layout is divided into two Orchestra tiers closest to the stage, followed by a final group of bench-style sections at the back of the pavilion.
Orchestra Sections (Sections 1–5)
The closest reserved seats in the venue are found in Sections 1–5. These sections sit directly in front of the stage and provide the most immersive views within the pavilion.
Row labeling begins with Row AA, followed by Row A, which can be confusing when purchasing tickets. Row AA is always the true front row unless a Pit is added.
For some shows, a general admission Pit is installed in front of these sections. When this happens, the first row of seating is pushed farther back, slightly reducing proximity but not view quality.
Orchestra Sections (Sections 6–11 & 100)
The second tier of Orchestra seating includes Sections 6–11 and Section 100, positioned just behind the front sections and slightly elevated.
In the center sections, seating begins at Row G, as Box Seats occupy the space closer to the stage. On the outer sections, rows may begin at Row A.
This level offers a strong balance of elevation and distance, giving fans a clear view of the stage while still feeling connected to the performance.
Bench Sections (Sections 12–18)
At the back of the pavilion are Sections 12–18, which represent the most affordable reserved seating option.
These sections differ from the rest of the pavilion in that they feature bench-style seating rather than individual stadium chairs. While still covered, comfort is more limited compared to the Orchestra sections.
Sections 16 and 18 tend to be the last areas to remain fully shaded, which can be an advantage during daytime or early evening shows.
Views from Reserved Seating
View quality is strongest in Sections 1–5 and gradually becomes more elevated and distant as you move back.
The second-tier Orchestra sections provide a balanced perspective, while the bench sections offer a more distant but still clear view of the performance.
Because all sections are covered, lighting and weather are rarely factors when choosing seats.
