"Heavy traffic and railing issues"

Seat Review From Section 435, Row 1, Seat 22
Aug 2014

Comments

If you don't like watching most of the game through the railings and contending with fans constantly walking up and down the entry aisle just in front of you, these seats are definitely not for you. I was in the first row in the upper portion of Section 435 (the lower rows are lettered, and the rows in the upper portion are numbered).

I've found that being in the front row of any seating area can often be a gamble due to guard railings impeding the view, and this seat was definitely a gamble I lost. Just in front of the seat is the stairway to get up to the numbered rows of the section, leaving a large hand railing right in front of the view. If I had to estimate, I might say that only 30% of the field is viewable without looking through a railing of some sort. And when you constantly have fans walking up and down the staircase to get to and from the seats, the view quickly becomes even more difficult.

If it weren't for the constant traffic and obnoxious metal railings staring you right in the face, the seats might be decent as they face right at midfield with the large videoboard just a glance up in the background, and have a nice ledge in front for resting food and drink. But the viewing issues were just too much for me, and I would not sit here again. Instead, I'd maybe try to sit a few rows higher in neighboring Section 436 where I wouldn't have some many issues from other fans walking to and from the seats.

Avoid if... you want to watch the game

Section 435, Row 10, Seat 10

  • "Quiet and Family Friendly"

    (Section 402) - -

Even though they were in Row 14, these seats seemed a lot higher up that that. You can easily see the whole field, but just not a lot of detail. No obstructions, though, and the angle to the field is good. If you don't mind walking up all the stairs, I think they're a good fit for a family. They...

  • "Low budget comfort"

    (Section 455) - -

These seats were located at the highest possible row of seating in this section, even though the neighboring section went higher, there was nothing but empty concrete rows above my seats. This made it nice and quiet and didn't have to worry about anyone behind me, so I could really stretch out and ...

  • "Straight ahead views of everything from the corner"

    (Section 433) - -

Good access from the concourse and the views are decent to the field. No obstructions from the stadium other than the railing which only blocks out a small portion of the near corner of the near endzone, and the fans sitting in front are not much of an issue unless you have someone very tall sittin...
