Seat Review From Section 51, Row 2, Seats 3&4
Aug 2014

Comments

I do not suggest these seats unless you like to bask in your own sweat. Anyone who has been to this stadium understands the heat that is contained within the walls and does not escape no matter what.

The only reason I decided to grab these seats was the low price and I was hoping for an EPIC Mike Trout catch (which did not happen). Although you do get a great view of the action in the outfield it is hard to see any action at the plate.

Another plus to this section is your are literally right next to the Rangers bullpen. If the players were allowed to sign during the game, you could just pass them the item through the fence. Since you are directly next to the fence there is only one way into the row Seat 1 is up against the fence). There is a quad area in the outfield that has some good concession items. Also there is a little bar area back there that if you get sick of the heat, you can sit at the tables if any are available.

Best for... watching the game, being close to the action, fans on a budget, catching a home run

Avoid if... you're bringing the family, you consider yourself "Big" and "Tall", you don't want a sun burn

Lots of Pluses and Minuses

Apr 2014

Section 51, Row 1, Seat 15

First, the good: Seat 15 is right next to the CF grass. So if you or your kids' dream is to run onto the grass and fight for a home run ball, look no further! You're also really close to the Rangers bullpen in RF and the CF plaza is an amazing place to eat and drink before or during the game. The bad: the view of the field. Ughh. You probably thought you were paying to see the field, not get a great view at a railing. It just won't go away. Everytime you look away from the field and then back, you have to set yourself to find the perfect slot to look through to see the field. Do yourself a favor and sit a few rows higher. You'll still be next to the grass, but the railing won't be in your way.

  • "Sunny, center-field view next to the grass"

    (Section 52) - -

When you look towards the field, seat 1 is on your left. In the case of Section 52, seat 1 is also right next to the CF grass. It crowds with kids before the game, as they're looking to run onto the grass to get a home run ball. Cool place to sit simply for the activity level, but may get a little o...

  • "First Row Behind the Visitor's Bullpen"

    (Section 54) - -

Row 10 in Section 54 is the first row behind the visitor bullpen in left-center. As with most views in the first row, it's totally obstructed by the railing. So what these seats have in terms of a cool factor, they totally lose out on the view. Unlike outfield seats in center or right, you can se...
