Who Should Sit Here

Lower Concourse seats are ideal for fans who want some of the best views in the venue while still having a comfortable, reserved seat. This is a great option for those who want to stay close to the stage but also value elevation and sightline clarity over being on the floor.

Lower Concourse Location & Details

The Lower Concourse sections at Shoreline Amphitheatre are located just behind the Pit and represent the closest stadium-style reserved seating in the venue. These sections are slightly elevated, which helps provide consistently strong views of the stage.

Because of this elevation and proximity, this area is widely considered one of the best places to sit for a concert at Shoreline.

Views from Lower Concourse

Views from the Lower Concourse are excellent across all sections, but positioning can influence the overall experience.

Section 102 is centered directly in line with the stage and offers the most balanced, head-on perspective. However, this section has less protection from the overhead canopy, meaning fans may be more exposed to sun or rain.

Sections 101 and 103 sit slightly off to the sides but still provide very strong views. The advantage in these sections is better roof coverage, making them a more comfortable choice for those concerned about weather conditions.

Rows & Seating Layout

The seating layout in the Lower Concourse varies by section and distance from the stage.

Rows closest to the stage are labeled with double letters (e.g., AA), while rows farther back transition to single-letter rows. Section 102 is slightly different, featuring a few triple-letter rows at the very front.

As a general rule, rows closer to the stage have fewer seats and a more intimate feel, while rows farther back become wider. For example, the front row in Section 102 may have only a handful of seats, while the last row can have significantly more.

Coverage & Comfort

Coverage varies depending on section.

Fans in Sections 101 and 103 will typically benefit from better protection under the canopy, while Section 102 may leave some seats more exposed. This makes seat selection especially important depending on weather conditions.
