Who Should Sit Here
Lawn seats are ideal for fans looking for a budget-friendly, relaxed concert experience. This is a great option for groups, casual outings, or anyone who prefers space to spread out and enjoy the atmosphere rather than sitting in a fixed seat.
Lawn Location & Details
The Lawn at Shoreline Amphitheatre is located behind the 200 Level reserved sections and is one of the largest seating areas in the venue. It can accommodate thousands of guests and operates primarily as a general admission space.
For most shows, a limited number of Reserved Lawn tickets are also available. These provide access to a designated area where fans can set up without needing to compete for space.
For standard lawn tickets, arriving early is key. The best spots — especially those with clear, unobstructed views — tend to fill quickly once gates open.
Views from the Lawn
The lawn is designed with a steep slope, which helps improve sightlines and allows fans farther back to see over those in front. This makes it one of the more viewer-friendly lawn setups compared to flatter venues.
That said, crowd behavior can still impact views. It’s common for fans to stand and dance, especially during high-energy performances, which can affect visibility depending on your position.
Lawn Experience
The lawn offers a laid-back, social atmosphere where fans can sit, stand, and move around freely. It’s a flexible environment that prioritizes comfort and space over proximity to the stage.
Amenities like restrooms and concessions are easily accessible at the top of the lawn, with additional options available along the main concourse behind the 200 Level sections.
Fans are permitted to bring a variety of items to enhance their experience, including:
-
Small blankets or towels
-
Low-back beach chairs
-
Soft coolers
-
Bottled water
-
Small bags of snacks

Fan Reviews
Lawn Seats — The lawn at Shoreline is enormous! I don't know how it is for other shows, but there were a lot of people standing and dancing at the front.
If you don't bring a blanket, there were selling them for $20 just outside the lawn. Drinks for sale at the side and too of the lawn.
Get there early!!
