RYS Expert Reviews
C Deck
(2026 Review) -
Stadium Horseshoe: The C Deck (also called Upper Deck Seats) forms Ohio Stadium's famous horseshoe on the upper level, with some of the venue's largest sections.
Sections Included: Even-numbered East C Deck sections on one sideline, West (OSU) sideline sections, plus smaller, lower-priced sections in the North endzone.
Best Value: The first seven rows hang over the lower level, bringing you closer to the field for the best value at an Ohio State football game.
Sun & Shade Caveat: East C Deck seats are sun-blasted bleachers; West C Deck is shaded by the Press Box in the afternoon — a blessing or a curse depending on the month.
Who Should Sit Here
The C Deck at Ohio Stadium is ideal for fans who want a big-view seat without a premium price. Budget-minded Buckeye supporters should look to the North endzone, where sections are smaller and tickets are cheaper, while those who want the best all-around value should aim for the first seven rows on either sideline.
C Deck Seating Details
The C Deck sits on the upper level and wraps the stadium in a horseshoe. The largest sections are the even-numbered East C Deck sections on the East sideline, which carry more than 40 rows of bleacher seating. The West C Deck sections on the OSU sideline have fewer rows, because Box Seats and D Deck sections occupy the top rows of the upper deck on that side. Smaller sections in the North endzone round out the deck at lower prices. When choosing, first pick a side of the field, then decide how close to the front you want to sit.
Views from the C Deck
The views from the C Deck are outstanding across the horseshoe. The best of them come from the first seven rows, which hang over the lower level to bring you closer to the action — and the walk to the concourse from these rows is short.
Sun & Shade
The East C Deck bleachers take direct sun, so bring protection for warm-weather games. The West C Deck is shaded in the afternoon by the Press Box, which can be welcome relief early in the season and a chilly trade-off later on — factor the month into your choice.
