Section 101 Reviews
ATL United Supporters Section
-Multiple Supporter Sections: Sections 101–103 and 135–136. Mixed Seating Formats: Combination of General Admission and reserved seating. Standing & Chanting Areas: High-energy environment for Atlanta United matches. GA Includes: Sections 101, 136, and Rows 1–39 of Section 102. Who Should Sit Here The Supporters Section at Mercedes-Benz Stadium is built for passionate Atlanta United fans who want to be part of the match atmosphere from start to finish. If you plan to stand, sing, and actively support the club for the full 90 minutes, these sections are a strong fit. Fans seeking a quieter, fully seated experience should consider midfield areas instead. Supporters Section Location & Details Atlanta United’s supporter areas are located primarily behind the goal and extend across Sections 101 through 103 and 135 through 136. Seating in this zone is split between General Admission and reserved sections: General Admission: Sections 101, 136, and Rows 1–39 of Section 102 operate as first-come, first-served for Atlanta United matches. Reserved Seating: The remaining supporter sections and rows feature assigned seats, though the atmosphere remains active. Even in reserved portions, fans are typically standing and participating throughout the match. Views from the Supporters Sections Located behind the goal, these sections provide a straight-on endline perspective. Lower rows offer a closer, immersive view of attacking plays at that end, while upper rows provide a slightly elevated vantage point. As with most goal-line seating, action on the opposite side of the field will feel more distant compared to sideline sections. Know Before You Go Expect drums, coordinated chants, and a standing crowd during Atlanta United matches. While some portions of the section are reserved, the overall environment mirrors that of a traditional supporter zone. Visiting supporters and fans looking for a calm, seated experience should explore other areas of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Lower Baseline (Basketball)
-For fans looking to get a seat in the lower level, the Lower Baseline sections at Mercedes-Benz Stadium might be the most affordable. The baseline seats are not going to give fans that great center court view, but they are the cheapest in the lower level. These sections have lots of seated rows and not to mention the Floor Risers sections in front of them. The view will not be the greatest since the sections are behind the basket, but for fans looking to get closer to the action these seats could be a more affordable option.
Lower Endzone (Football)
-When looking at endzone seats for a football game at M-B Stadium, there are two distinct options. The first is Sections 117-121 on the west side of stadium. These are more traditional endzone sections with roughly 40 rows of seats in each section. Behind the east endzone are sections 101-103 and 135-136. Sections 101-103 are the largest sections in the stadium with up to 60 rows of seats in each section. The upper rows of these sections are the cheapest lower seats for a Falcons game and are more steep than the rest of the stadium. This is expected to help keep the noise from traveling out and create a loud environment in these endzone seats. Another feature of the east endzone is access to the main plaza above sections 134-136. From there fans will find the window to the city and an excellent view towards downtown (sitting in the higher rows of sections 117 and 118 will also give a direct view through the window). This area is expected to be a popular place for fans to congregate on before the game and during halftime.
