Less than 10% of seats at Levi's Stadium offer some type of shade or cover. Below is a sample of seats that are at least partially covered or shaded at different times of the day. To search for tickets or to find out if your seats are protected from the sun or rain, follow the link for the seat finder.
Loge Level Corner seating options are found in the northeast and southeast corners of Levis Stadium, spanning across sections 306-311 and 318-323. The Loge level sits at the front of the third and uppermost seating tier at the Stadium, providing decent views from an elevated perspective.
With only 6 to 7 rows of seating in each Loge Level Corner section, these seats are a good option for fans that prefer a seating location with quick and easy access to restrooms and concessions in the concourse.
Loge Level Endzone Seating
Loge level endzone seats are the highest and furthest of any endzone seating option in Levis Stadium. Higher seats can be found on the east sideline, but with the large videoboards perched above the loge level endzone sections, there are no seats above these endzone sections.
The sections feature just 6 to 7 rows of seating for easy in and out access, and also have some of the best eye level head on views of the videoboards above the opposing endzone.
Loge Level Sideline Seating
With the upscale suite seating taking the place all seating higher than the second tier on the west side of the stadium, the Loge Level Sideline sections are exclusive to the east side and run from Section 312 to Section 317. These seats are located in the smaller front portion of the third and highest seating tier, but offer some of the best options for less expensive midfield views as club sections dominate the midfield viewing options on the lower levels.
The sections feature just 6 to 7 seating rows in each, making these some of the best in Levis Stadium when it comes to easy access to and from the seats.
Lower Level Corner Seating
From between the sidelines and the endzones on the lower seating tier, the Lower Level Corner sections offer fans some of the best places to be for determining whether the ball breaks the plane of the goal line.
Seats closest to the field in the Lower Level Corner sections will be found in Row 1, and most sections will have as many as 36 numbered rows of seating. With the concourse entry tunnel located at the top of the section, fans in the lower rows will have to walk the furthest to enjoy their close views in the lower seating rows.
Some of the best lower seats for staying in the sun will be found in corner sections 121-123, while the corner sections on the west side offer more shade.
Lower Level Endzone Seating
Located behind the uprights at both the North and South endzones, these lower level seats provide fans with a view more suited to enjoying the sideline to sideline action of the game.
As the seats point down the length of the field there is little to no head turning needed to catch all the action. Large videoboards are located above the loge level at either endzone, allowing fans to enjoy both the game and the replays from both the north and south ends.
Sections in the lower level endzone have between 36 to 38 rows of seating, with Row 1AA located closest to the field in most, and the concourse entry tunnels located at the very top of all the sections.
Lower Level Sideline Seating
The Lower Level Sideline is a small group of sections located on either side of the Brocade Club seats. These seats are exclusive to the east side of the lower level where less sideline real estate is taken up by the premium club seats near midfield.
These seating options include Sections 111-112 and 118-119, and offer fans a lower priced alternative for midfield lower level views when compared to the the club sections. These sections have as many as 38 numbered seating rows in each, with the longest walks for the fans in the lowest seating rows as the entry tunnels are located at the top of the sections.
Mid Level Corner Seating
Corner seating on the second tier of the stadium provides good views of most areas of the field, with very good proximity to scoring plays at the near endzones. These seating options are available on both the east and west ends of the stadium, although the two sides will provide a different atmosphere due to the size of the sections.
Mid Level Corner sections on the east side (Sections 206-211, 221-226) will have 23 numbered rows of seating, while the west side sections (232-235, 243-246) feature no more than 14 rows in each.
Some of the best value seats at Levis Stadium can be found in Sections 234-235 and 243-244 due to their position along the sidelines on the second tier, while not having the club amenities which keep prices higher.
Mid Level Endzone Seating
Behind the endzones on the second of the three seating tiers, Mid Level Endzone seats face down the field with a good viewing height above field level. The elevation from the second level ensures good viewing to most areas of the field, and some of the best vantage points for watching the action between the sidelines as opposed to between the goal lines.
Sections in this location each have 23 numbered rows of seating, with Seat 1 located at the very front of the section. Concourse entry tunnels for the Mid Level sections are located at Row 3, creating the longest walks for the fans in the higher numbered rows.
Upper Level Corner Seating
The upper level corner is home to the highest and furthest views of any area in Levis Stadium. Located at the very top of the stadium and furthest from midfield, fans won't find the best views in these seats, however with the less desirable viewing also comes some of the cheapest ticket prices for a game at Levis Stadium.
These seating options are found only on the east side of the stadium, with the corner sections near the south endzone seeing the most sun of any area during an afternoon game at Levis Stadium. Sections in this location have 27 numbered rows of seating in each, with the entry tunnel located at the front of the sections at Row 1.
Upper Level Sideline Seating
The upper level sideline is where fans can find the most affordable ticket with sideline views at Levis Stadium. Located above the loge level on the upper seating tier, these seats are among the highest and furthest from the field, but will provide the midfield viewing angle desired by many fans.
These seats are exclusive to the east end of the stadium due to the luxury suites taking the upper level seating space on the west side of the stadium. Sections in this location have 27 numbered rows of seating in each, with seats in Row 1 being closest to the front as well as nearest to the entry tunnels at the bottom of the sections.
When looking at the field, the seat numbers go from right to left. The lowest seat number in the row will be next the adjacent section with the lowest number. For example, Seat 1 in Section 128 is closest to Section 127 while the highest seat number in Section 128 is closest to Section 129.
Something to watch out for in Levis Stadium, however, is that not all rows have a Seat 1. There are many instances in this stadium where the lowest numbered seat in the row is greater than 1. For example, the seat numbers in Section 132 Row 1 range from 18-31, so in this case Seat 18 is on the right side of the section when looking at the field and it is closest to Section 131.
Where is the visitor's tunnel located at Levis Stadium?
The visitor's tunnel is located between Sections 145 and 146 in Levis Stadium. Seats in either of these sections will give you a good view of the opposing team coming out of the tunnel. On the higher levels, Sections 201 and 301 and sections near these will give you a good view of the tunnel as well.
The visitor's tunnel between Sections 145 and 146 is shown in the photo above.
What seating is there for people with disabilities at Levis Stadium?
The lower seating tier will be the best place to find handicap
accessible seating at Levis Stadium, with options available both at the
front and back of many 100 level sections. Accessible seats are more difficult to find on the 200 Level, available at the front of a few sections on the north sideline, and in the back of select sections on the south sideline. And as there is no accessible seating on the 400 level, the last place
you'll find handicap seats is on the 300 level near the back of select
sections.
Every aisle will feature handrails in the main seating bowl at Levis Stadium, making it slightly easier to travel up or down a few rows from the entry tunnels. But for the safest and easiest access, we recommend sticking to the designated handicap accessible seating locations listed below:
100 Level Front:
Row 1W in Sections 101-102, 104-106, 108-112, C113, C117, 142-144, and 146
Row 12W in Sections 232, 235, C236-C237, C241-C242, 243 and 246
300 Level Back:
Row 6W in Sections 304-306, 309-310, 312, 314-315, 317, 319-320, and 323-325
The 100 Level has the most handicap accessible seating options at Levis Stadium
What and where is the 49ers Red Zone Rally?
The Red Zone Rally is a pre-game party held before each 49ers home game. The party is located at the Great America Pavilion, just a short walk from Levi's Stadium in one of the parking lots. In order to attend the Rally, you must have a game ticket AND a Rally ticket.
First, fans will get access to the GAP (no, not the clothing store, the Pavilion) which opens three hours before kick-off. The exclusive area is a great way to catch-up on all the early NFL action on one of 45 different television monitors. Fans will also find interactive games, activities, live music and the 49ers cheerleaders roaming around and photo-bombing you (or more likely, you'll be photo-bombing them).
Food: This is the one of the top reasons to purchase a ticket. If you're not a pro at grilling 30 pounds of fresh sausage on a portable tailgating grill, you can simply grab a plate and load up on a myriad of food options; prime rib, nachos, shrimp, BBQ, pasta, sushi, sandwiches, and the list goes on and on.
Check out the Yelp Photos for some mouth-watering selections.
Drinks: The Niners are being extra kind this year and knocking a whole shiny quarter off each beer you purchase in the stadium for 2015. With a Rally ticket, you get as much as you want and it won't cost you a quarter (or 32 quarters like in the stadium). Please do remember to tip your waitresses though. If you're a high-roller and want to upgrade to premium adult beverages, you can show off to your friends and pay $6 for a Stella. Because nothing says football game like conspicuous consumption.
Restrooms: When you tailgate in the parking lot, sometimes the parking lot also becomes the bathroom. If that's not cool with you, the Pavilion has you covered: Clean restrooms, no 95-degree porta-potties and no chance of a public urination ticket. That's called a win-win-win!
Should I buy a ticket for the rally?
If your tailgate looks like this, you probably don't need a Rally ticket
If you've already got a parking pass, a sweet tailgate setup and plenty of friends, definitely not! Nothing beats throwing the pigskin in the parking lot (even though this is explicitly banned) and DIYing it. But if you answer yes to any of the following questions, you might consider a Rally ticket:
Are you embarrassed to be seen tailgating with just you and one other dude out of the back of your dad's Prius?
Do you not have a mobile grilling device?
Do you want to beat traffic AND watch the early NFL games?
Will you drink more than 8 beers* and/or eat your weight in turkey legs? (*excessive drinking not encouraged)
Are you looking to turn your one-game-a-year into an all-day event?
How much do tickets cost?
The 49ers sell rally tickets directly for $85/each or for $75/game if you purchase all ten games (including the pre-season). Other fans report having bought tickets from secondary sources for as little as $40-$50. The consensus seems to be that it's worth it at $45, but a little pricey at twice that.
