Best Seats For a Concert at KeyBank Center
The most common seating layout at KeyBank Center for concerts is an end-stage setup with the stage located near sections Section 108, Section 109 and Section 110. For many concerts there are also slight variations to the layout, which may include General Admission seats, fan pits and B-stages.
Floor seats - like those in Floor 1 - are among the most sought-after tickets
On the Floor: Sections Floor 1, Floor 2, Floor 3 and Floor 4 are Floor Seats, which offer some of the closest views of the performers. For many concerts, floor sections are added or removed. These performer-specific adjustments may alter the floor layout and the views from each floor section.
To the Side of the Stage: For close views of the stage with a little bit of elevation, consider seats to the side of the stage in Section 105, Section 106 and Section 116. The view is not head-on like on the floor, but many of the seats are closer to the stage, provide better elevation and are actual stadium seats.
Section 226 offers a comfortable head-on view for end-stage shows
Head-on to the Stage: Seats directly across from the stage, like those in Section 100, Section 122, Section 123 and Section 200 provide the most comfortable looks of the performance.
Even upper level sections offer unobstructed sitelines. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to see as much detail from these seats as you would if you sat closer to the stage.
Consider the Following When Buying Concert Tickets
Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 108, Section 109, Section 110 and Section 111. It's unlikely the performer will turn around to salute you - and you're more likely to be completely blocked out from seeing the show.
If you're on the shorter side (or bringing kids), consider floor seats only in the first few rows: The most common complaint amongst floor ticketholders is that they can't see the stage because of taller people in front of them. As an alternative, consider side sections near the stage that will still have you close and high enough to see.
Lower level side sections are not created equal: While the side sections closest to the stage are top-notch, side sections farther from the stage may leave you with a cramp in your neck. Sections 104 and 118 are not well-angled towards the stage - leaving you to turn your head for an ideal view. Instead, consider head-on sections in the lower level or even close side seats in the upper level like 307 and 319.

From behind the nets on the lower 100 level, fans have a great perspective to see how plays develop as the players move down the ice. Sitting behind the net is not always as it can be difficult to judge offside calls, but being on the lower level will keep you close to the action and you'll be one of the first to know when a puck makes it into the near net.
Sabres fans looking to sit in this location should try and get seats in Sections 110-112 because this is the side where the Sabres will shoot twice during the game. This will give fans a better chance of being near a goal scored by the home team.
100 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
With a lower level seating position near the middle of the ice, the 100 Level Center sections are home to some of the best seats in the house. Fans will have an ideal perspective to both nets while still feeling close to all the action.
For a one of a kind experience, fans can sit directly behind the team benches in parts of Sections 104-106. Being just a pane of glass away from your favorite players is one of the most exciting places to be, however watching the game over the players and coaches shoulders can often be difficult. For the best overall views, we recommend sitting near Row 19 which will give you great seating elevation and keep you close to the section entry tunnels.
100 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
Corner seating on the lower tier will keep you close to the action will providing a unique viewing angle which you don't often find when watching on TV. The positioning allows you enjoy both the goal to goal and cross ice movement, and from this close to the ice it is a great place to truly appreciate the speed of the game.
Sabres fans will want to be in Sections 107-109 or 113-115 as you'll get two periods of the home team shooting at the near net. Section 113 is also unique as it is located just above the Zamboni entrance, making it a good option if you're bringing children to the game.
300 Level Center (Hockey) Seating
If you prefer a traditional center ice view but don't want to bust your budget in purchasing tickets, the 300 Level Center sections are where you'll want to be. Fans here have good, equitable views to both nets with plenty of elevation to see almost any area of the ice.
Sections here have up to 13 numbered rows of seating, with some of the best seats found in Rows 3-5 thanks to their clear views and close proximity to the entry tunnels (located at Row 3). If you have the choice, we recommend Sections 319-321 over 305-307 as you'll also enjoy the head on view of the team benches.
300 Level Corner (Hockey) Seating
Corner seating on the 300 level will be one of the better areas where fans can find affordable tickets for a hockey game at KeyBank Center. The corner angles offer a unique perspective, and with the highest seating elevation available, there won't be too many situations where you lose sight of the puck against the boards.
Sections 315-318 are among our favorites in this area thanks to their proximity to the net where the Sabres shoot twice, as well as the good line of sight to the front of the players and coaches on the sidelines.
300 Level End Zone (Hockey) Seating
Far from the ice on the upper seating tier, the 300 Level Sections behind the nets are often some of the best places to find cheap Sabres tickets at KeyBank Center. While the opposite goal will feel distant, the high seating lets you have some of the most wide open views of the ice and you won't have to turn your head at all to follow the game.
For an upper tier, the sections are reasonably sized with no more than 13 rows of seating in each section and entry tunnels located at Row 3. Sabres fans will want to be in Sections 312-314 where you'll be closer to the net where the home team shoots in the 1st and 3rd periods.
Recommended Seats for Great Views
For Hockey: Rows 13-20 in Sections 104, 105, 106 and 116
Great views from the lower level near center ice
Excellent seating height to follow the action
Close to the entry tunnels at Row 18

I'm looking for club level box seats and not sure what sections apply.
At the First Niagara Center, the 200 level is considered the club level. These seats come with upscale amenities including in-seat wait service and access to the club-only areas with bars and televisions.
In addition to the amenities, these seats are known for being at an ideal height for watching the action on each end of the ice. As a result, these seats typically command a premium over most seats.
How is the view from HBox seating for a concert at HSBC Arena?
Pros
For concerts, the Harbor Club Box seats have their pros and cons. On the plus side, this is one of the better areas to hang out in before the concert or during the opening act. It attracts a more social crowd and is an ideal place for friends to hang out. Another plus is that the view from the boxes is head-on to the stage for end-stage setups (like this Shania Twain show). A head-on view is many times more comfortable than having a side view and turning your neck to see the performance.
On the flip side, the view from the boxes to the stage is pretty far. During hockey games these seats offer a cool video-game like view, and the action heads in your direction half the time. But for concerts, you're about 200 feet away from the stage at all times. You won't be able to see a significant amount of detail, and the atmosphere (dancing, energy, etc.) tends to be less upbeat when you're farther away from the stage.
Overall, a really good place to sit if you want a comfortable view and access to the lounge. But if you're looking for an immersive experience, you'll want to sit closer.
