200 Reserved
-The 200 Reserved seats are a continuation of the 100 Reserved seats with a small walkway between. The overall footprint of the reserved seats is small for the venue, so almost all seats are pretty close to the stage comparatively. If possible, avoid looking at tickets in sections 201 and 205. These sections can provide harsher views that leave band members or elements of the show impossible to see due to the angle. Almost all seats in section 202-204 have fantastic views to the stage. Like the 100 Reserved sections, these seats to not have scenic views due to their proximity to the stage. Instead, take advantage by walking up to the lawn or stand out on the view bar to get some great scenery.
Floor Seats
-Floor seats at Gorge Amphitheatre are at the bottom of the steep lawn near the stage. Tickets in these sections are great for fans looking to have the closest views to the performance. The best options to get near the stage are in sections 101-103. If the budget allows, we suggest tickets in section 102 for perfectly centered views. Considerations When Buying Floor Tickets Due to the wide footprint, the angles to the stage in 101 and 103 can get severe causing an obstructed view of the stage. The front of the stage will be visible, but elements like video screens further back may be out of view. The entire floor is on a flat concrete slab. This means there is very little elevation between rows or sections which can make views more difficult for those in the back of sections. Choose rows near the front of the section for better sight lines. All seats are metal folding chairs. These are not the most comfortable, but most fans elect to stand during the show anyway. For fans who prefer to sit in a comfortable padded seat, the box seats may be a better option. Limited Scenic Views The downside of reserved seating is that you lose the elevation compared to the lawn seating behind you. What many consider to be so spectacular about the Gorge is the backdrop of the canyon and Columbia River behind the stage. With floor seating being at stage level, much of that view is blocked out. Those with assigned seats will still be able to access the lawn at any time to take in these views and return to their seats. We recommend doing this during the opening acts near sunset. Pit Tickets For some shows the seats will be removed completely from the floor in front of the stage and the area becomes a general admission pit. Tickets to a pit section give fans access to an area on the floor and views are first-come, first-serve.
