The Gorge Amphitheatre is a completely open-air venue. There is no roof and none of the seats are under cover. By not having a roof, concert-goers have a chance to fully experience the beauty surrounding the theatre.
For fans wanting to get close to the stage but worried about not having a physical seat to sit in, the 100 Reserved area is an ideal choice. All seats in section 102 are guaranteed to have a clear view to the entire stage since the section is centered. Section 101 and 103 can create some bad angles to the stage, but still provide close views.
The best seats in section 101 are the higher numbered seats (30 and above) while the best seats in section 103 are the lower numbers (seats 1-16).
Reserved seating does lose the scenic views of the lawn, however anyone with a reserved ticket will be able to go to the lawn to take in the sights or head to the "View Bar" located directly west of the stage.
The 200 Reserved seats are a continuation of the 100 Reserved seats with a small walkway between. The overall footprint of the reserved seats is small for the venue, so almost all seats are pretty close to the stage comparatively.
If possible, avoid looking at tickets in sections 201 and 205. These sections can provide harsher views that leave band members or elements of the show impossible to see due to the angle. Almost all seats in section 202-204 have fantastic views to the stage.
Like the 100 Reserved sections, these seats to not have scenic views due to their proximity to the stage. Instead, take advantage by walking up to the lawn or stand out on the view bar to get some great scenery.
