Tight Row - Very Crammed — There is only 6" clearance from the edge of the seats to the seat back in front of you for the entire Row 5 in Section 13. The row in front of us had plenty of room, as did the row behind us. It's like they wanted to cram in an extra row. I'm 5'3" and my knees would touch the back of the seat; my husband is 6'0" and had to sit with his knees spread far apart. There was no room to squeeze past people without practically stepping on them. Seats 15-16 were pretty well in the center of the row, so no bathroom or food breaks for me. The cupholders are designed to be hidden too, underneath the armrest.

I will say the view of the stage is fantastic, but would definitely avoid this uncomfortable and inconvenient row in future concerts.

  • Of sections 12, 13 and 14, which is best for a concert at Bankers Life Fieldhouse?

Section 12 has the Best Angle Towards the Stage

All three sections are about the same distance from the stage, so there's no real advantage to any of them from that perspective. But what we like about Section 12 vs. 13 and 14 is the angle towards the stage.

    Section 12 Seat View
The head-on view from Row 7 in Section 12

The seats in Sections 13 and 14 are angled towards the middle of the floor since this is primarily a basketball venue and that's where most of the action would occur. Thus, for a concert you have to turn your head to the left to get a good view of the stage. Meanwhile, Section 12 has a better angle towards the end-stage set-up with less strain on your neck.

Note: these comments assume an end-stage setup with the stage in front of lower level sections 1 and 20.
