Who should sit here?
This is the ideal spot for fans who prioritize comfort and food access over a perfect view of home plate. If your ideal Braves spring training day involves a rotating selection of Tiki Bar snacks and plenty of elbow room to relax with a drink, the Left Field Lounge is where you want to be.
Seating Configuration and Section Layout
The Left Field Lounge, officially designated as Section 122, differs from the rest of the stadium by offering nine rows of ledge-style seating. Each fan has an individual chair paired with a permanent drink rail in front of them. This setup is perfect for balancing lunch from the nearby concessions while keeping a close eye on the action. Because of the ledge, you also get significantly more legroom than in the standard fold-down seats found in the 100-level baseline sections.
Field Perspective and Left Field View
The Left Field Lounge is located in the corner, meaning you are looking across the diamond toward the first-base side. While the distance from home plate makes it a bit harder to judge balls and strikes, you are in a prime position to watch the left fielder and any action near the foul pole.
Proximity to Concessions and the Tiki Bar
One of the primary reasons to choose the Left Field Lounge is its location relative to the Superior Pools Tomahawk Tiki Bar & Grill. This isn't just a standard beer stand; it’s a full-service restaurant and bar perched just above the left field line.
Things to Know Before You Buy
-
The Afternoon Sun: As is common with the left-field side of Florida ballparks, Section 122 is heavily exposed to the sun during 1:05 PM starts. Be prepared with hats and sunscreen, as the sun will be high and to your right for most of the game.
-
Corner Angle: Because these seats are in the corner, they are angled slightly toward center field. You may find yourself turning your chair or body slightly toward the right to get a better look at the pitcher-batter exchange.
