Who should sit here?

The Berm at CoolTdoay Park is the perfect spot for fans who want a low-stress, social day at the ballpark without being confined to a rigid stadium seat. It’s a favorite for families with young kids who need room to roam and sun-seekers looking to soak up the Florida heat.

Location and Berm Access

The Berm is situated behind the Left Field wall at CoolToday Park. As a General Admission area, fans enter through the main gates and head toward the outfield concourse to claim their spot. Because the 360-degree concourse wraps entirely around the field, Berm ticket holders have easy access to the Braves bullpen and the popular Tomahawk Tiki Bar just a short walk away.

Seating Type and Policy

This is a grass-only seating area with no fixed chairs, cupholders, or bleachers. Fans are highly encouraged to bring towels or blankets to claim their space on the gently sloping hill. It is important to note that personal lawn chairs are generally not permitted on the grass to ensure everyone has a clear sightline, though the stadium provides a limited number of wooden Adirondack-style chairs at the very top of the hill on a first-come, first-served basis.

View and Pitch Perspective

From the Berm, fans enjoy an elevated, "home run" perspective of the game. You are positioned directly behind the Left Field fence, giving you a great look at the entire diamond and the Atlanta Braves dugout on the first-base side. While you are further from home plate, the open-air layout ensures you can see the high-flying action clearly, though tracking low line drives near the wall can be tricky.

Things to Know Before You Buy

  • The Sun Factor: The Berm is completely exposed with no shade. For a 1:05 PM Braves game, you will be in direct sunlight for the entire afternoon, so hats and sunscreen are mandatory.

  • Arrival Strategy: To get a spot right against the outfield fence, plan to arrive when the gates open (usually 90 minutes before first pitch).

  • Kid-Friendly Zone: This is the most active part of the stadium, making it ideal if you're bringing children but perhaps less ideal if you're looking for a quiet, scout-like view of the game.
