RYS Expert Reviews

300 Level

(2026 Review) - Upper Level Seating: The 300 Level wraps the top tier of the United Center and includes all 300-level sections.  Budget-Friendly: The best spot for finding cheap Bulls or Blackhawks tickets.  Banner Views: Some of the best sightlines to the championship banners hanging in the rafters.  Standing Room: SRO areas sit at the top of 300-level sections and usually fill up for prime-time sellouts.  Best Rows: Aim for Rows 1-8 — Rows 1-2 have the best views and Rows 3-8 have the fewest seats for easy in-and-out.  Who Should Sit Here  The 300 Level at the United Center is built for the die-hard, value-minded fan. These upper sections have hosted some of Chicago's greatest sports moments — from the Bulls' second three-peat to the Blackhawks' recent dynasty — and they remain the go-to choice for catching a Bulls, Blackhawks, or concert night without paying lower-bowl prices.  300 Level Seating Details  This zone covers all 300 Level sections on the United Center seating chart. Each section has up to 17 rows, with an entrance located near Row 3. Seat 1 is on your right as you look toward the floor from your seats. Rows 1-8 are the picks of the level: Rows 1-2 for the views, Rows 3-8 for having the fewest seats and the easiest access.  Views from the 300 Level  From up here you get a full, sweeping look at the action and some of the best views in the building of the banners in the rafters. For basketball, a sideline section is worth it even if it means a higher row. For hockey, sit in the lowest row possible even if that means giving up center ice. For concerts, check the seating chart for your specific show — the best seats for most shows are at the front of sections 319 and 333.  Good to Know  SRO (standing room only) areas sit at the top of the 300 Level and are typically filled for prime-time sellouts, so plan accordingly if you're after a seat versus a standing spot.

Solid View from Beneath the Press Box — My girlfriend and I were given these seats as birthday presents and they were a great gift indeed. With the high demand and resulting high prices of Blackhawks tickets, I had not been to a game in 2 seasons, and it was amazing to be back in the United Center to watch the boys live. Section 320 has a great view of the majority of the ice and are on the side where the Hawks shoot twice, so we were in a great spot. The walk to the 8th row from the section entrance was a breeze (entrance is at row 3), and we were very comfortable only having to climb over 4 other fans to get to our seats.

The section is actually located just below Press Box, which was really fun and interesting as we could hear some of the chatter and announcements coming from above. Backing up to the press box in this section as gave it a more comfortable, cozy feel, probably due to the fact that there are fewer rows to make space for the press level seating. We could even see some fans in the last rows of section 320 standing to talk to people in the Press Box which was neat (I'm guessing the fans were season ticket holders and have developed a bit of a connection with the people that work in the press box). Beer vendors came through 5 times during the game, and always came through with great timing as we took them up on the offer on two of the five occasions.

The only downfalls with these seats are the views of the far near corner which can be obstructed by fans in lower rows (see my pics), and the lines to the restrooms were pretty substantial as well (took my girlfriend almost the entire 1st intermission to get through the line for the womens room). But overall these were great seats with amazing views on the 300 level at the UC!

Good to "Get in the Door" — We knew that these seats would be on the side of the stage and for what we paid, they were definitely worth it. Make sure if buying tickets in these seats the price reflects the view. From here, we were able to see all the band members perfectly.

What was out of view for the most part was the big screen behind the performer. There were side screens for the fans on the side and behind the stage to still get a close up view of the performer.

These seats specifically (1 & 2) were located right on the aisle and above the tunnel. There are two railings that could potentially obstruct your view, but if you lean forward just a little you could see over it.

Overall, these seats are best to just get in the door to see/hear a performer. If you are a big fan or want to see the screen behind the performers it is probably best to look in other areas of the venue.
