300 Level

- The 300 Level at the United Center already has a ton of history. From the Bulls' second three-peat to the Blackhawks' recent dynasty, die-hard fans have crowded the upper level to witness some of Chicago's best sports moments. These sections have some of the best views of the banners that hang in the rafters, and they're the best seats for finding cheap Bulls or Hawks tickets. Recommended Seats for Concerts, Basketball and Hockey Sit in a sideline section for basketball gamesEven if it means sitting in a higher row  Sit in the lowest row possible for hockey gamesEven if it means not sitting at center ice  Review the seating chart for your concert The best seats for most shows are at the front of sections 319 and 333  Rows and Seat Numbers Each 300 Level section has up to 17 rows with an entrance located near Row 3. Seat 1 is on your right as you look towards the floor from your seats. The best rows to sit in are 1-8. Rows 1-2 have the best views, and Rows 3-8 have the fewest seats. This makes it easier to get in and out.

Fan Reviews

Great energy, rough view Tickets for the Big Ten Tournament Championship game between Michigan and Michigan State were on the expensive side, so I was relegated to the only place I could find cheaper seats, the 300 level section. United Center is a massive arena, and because of this, the 300 level section is really up there. My view of the far basket actually wasn't too bad. I could generally make out when the ball was going through the hoop and what was going on. The close basket on the other hand was a struggle. When the players were moving around the perimeter, it was decent. What I had trouble making out was any time the big guys got close to the basket and whether or not the ball was even going through the hoop. This was especially disappointing during the last possession when I thought Jordan Poole had made the game tying shot only to realize he missed it wide right. I will admit the energy in the 300 level was electric. Lots of fans passionate for each side. I'll only be back in the 300 level section in the future if I absolutely have to.

Seating and Ticket Q&A

Where are the Standing Room Only seats at a Blackhawks game?

The standing room only areas at the United Center are located at the top of the 300 Level sections.

Open Air Bars

300 Level Bars
While traditional SRO tickets are at the back of the 300 level, there are SRO spaces at each open-air bar

The United Center also has 4 open air bars which are located at the bottom of Sections 306, 312, 323, and 329 which also offer some limited space for standing room viewing.

Get to the UC Early!

Gates open 90 minutes prior to puck drop, so be sure to get to the stadium early to get the best SRO spots as they will fill quickly and you will not have a very good view unless you can find a spot at the front of an SRO area.

Blackhawks Shoot Twice Side

Your best options will be the open air bars at Sections 323 and 329, or at the top of any Section from 319-333 as these will be on the side of the ice where the Blackhawks shoot twice.
