Perhaps the Most Comfortable Seats in the 300 Level
If being close to the stage is most important to you, you'll want to spend more money to be in a lower level, or at least on the side of the stage. But if you care about comfort, these seats are pretty perfect.
They're on the right side of the section, so you're nearly looking eye-to-eye with the performer. The height is actually pretty cool, as you can see a lot of what's going on -- including sick glow-stick action in the lower levels. In addition, being on the aisle three rows from the concourse entrance means getting into and out of the seats is a breeze. The aisle gives plenty of room to toe-tap with the music, and I literally was able to get a beer in between songs because it takes about 30 seconds when there are no lines (one of the premium beer stands is right outside this section).
Overall, you do spend a lot of time watching the show on the screens -- and the sound at the United Center for a concert is unforgivable -- but these are some of the best cheap concert tickets you can find at the UC.
Birds Eye View
Stairs were steep to get up to Row 15, but once there got a good view of the whole court and could see the plays develop and track all the action. Very cool for the basketball strategist or avid fan, might not be the best for young ones or those looking to impress a guest. Vendors were scarce, and ambient noise (in addition to my awful hearing) made conversation a bit difficult, but very fun to watch the fluidity and fast pace of the game from the angle we had.
Once down the stairs and out the entrance for 309/310, mens room was maybe 10 steps, but women's was a bit further down. Concession stand just outside the section entrance with standard stadium food and beverage. Although there was a cool open air bar just a few steps down from the men's room with more premium selection of beers. Very cool.
Highest seat in the house! Literally the last row of the 300 level. They actually built another row after the ADA seating, so you have to walk up a few more steps to get to this row. If you’re taller than 6 feet, you might hit your head on the ceiling if you jump up too fast! Not a bad view, just be prepared to be up high.
