(2026 Review) - Upper Level Seating: The 300 Level wraps the top tier of the United Center and includes all 300-level sections. Budget-Friendly: The best spot for finding cheap Bulls or Blackhawks tickets. Banner Views: Some of the best sightlines to the championship banners hanging in the rafters. Standing Room: SRO areas sit at the top of 300-level sections and usually fill up for prime-time sellouts. Best Rows: Aim for Rows 1-8 — Rows 1-2 have the best views and Rows 3-8 have the fewest seats for easy in-and-out. Who Should Sit Here The 300 Level at the United Center is built for the die-hard, value-minded fan. These upper sections have hosted some of Chicago's greatest sports moments — from the Bulls' second three-peat to the Blackhawks' recent dynasty — and they remain the go-to choice for catching a Bulls, Blackhawks, or concert night without paying lower-bowl prices. 300 Level Seating Details This zone covers all 300 Level sections on the United Center seating chart. Right Outside of Ironworks — The best thing about these seats is their proximity to Ironworks, which has a delicious steak sandwich and one of the better beer selections in the upper level. Being in Row 6 and being with a group sitting on the aisle makes it easy to get down to the concourse and back in your seat in a flash. Sitting higher up and in a row with more seats (Row 6 only has like 10 seats) would make it a little more challenging.

I don't like sitting behind the basket for basketball, but the view was OK. The view of the action on the other end of the court is good (though far away), but the view on the near hoop is tough. You really never do know if the ball went through the net or if it was an airball.

Overall, really good seats to bring a group of friends or even the kids who aren't totally in-tune with every detail of the game. Just don't expect to wow someone with a great view.

Most rows in section 309 have 15 seats, labeled from right to left. You will enter section 309 near row 3 and then walk up or down to your row from there. At the top of the section you will find a landing area where SRO patrons stand and where you can find small restrooms.

If I buy seats in section 309 (head-on view), will there be a screen to watch or will it obstruct the view of the stage?

Hello and thank you for your question! For Ariana Grande's tour in the upper level at the United Center, obstructions will depend mostly on the row. The entire stage will be visibile to all fans in the crowd. As you get higher in the arena, production equipment could block a portion of the screen located behind the stage. This screen is mostly used for production elements like video imagery. It is not used to project what is happening on stage. For better views of what is happening on stage, there will be smaller screens located off to the side.
