RYS Expert Reviews

100 Level

(2026 Review) - Lower Bowl Seating: The 100 Level runs sections 101–122, wrapping the entire lower bowl.  Premium Price Tag: These are usually the most expensive tickets in the building, though the experience shifts by event.  Best Concert Seats: Side sections shine, and when the stage sits at the far end, 113 and 121 are the top seats in the lower level.  Bulls Caution: Skip sections 106 and 117 — they sit directly behind the basket and offer some of the worst views in the arena.  Blackhawks Anywhere: It's tough to find a bad seat here for hockey, from sidelines to corners to ends.  Who Should Sit Here  The 100 Level at the United Center is for fans who want to be close to the action and are willing to pay for it. Whether you're catching a concert, a Bulls game, or a Blackhawks matchup, the lower bowl puts you near the floor or ice — just choose your section carefully, since the best spots change with the event.  100 Level Seating Details  The 100 Level is the lower seating tier and is made up of sections 101 through 122, circling the arena. For concerts, the stage is most often set at the West end, which makes the side sections the strongest picks. For basketball, the sidelines run along the length of the court, while sections 106 and 117 sit behind the baskets. For hockey, benches are in front of sections 101 and 122.  Views from the 100 Level  Your view depends heavily on the event. For concerts with the stage at the far end, sections 113 and 121 keep fans close and comfortable without craning their necks. For Bulls games, sideline seats deliver unobstructed views without the baskets in the way, while 106 and 117 behind the hoops are the ones to avoid. For Blackhawks games, sidelines give good looks to each end, corners provide great angles to the ice, and end sections offer a unique perspective — note that the Blackhawks shoot twice toward the net in front of 117, and the glass may disrupt views in the lower rows.  Pro Tip  If you're buying lower-level seats for a Bulls game, it's worth paying extra to sit along the sideline for a clean, unobstructed view. For a Blackhawks game, almost any 100 Level section works — just aim for a few rows up if you want to stay clear of glass interference.

Seating Notes

  • The Blackhawks shoot twice towards this end of the ice
  • For basketball games, these seats are located behind the visitor bench

Some of the Best Seats For Visiting Fans — The experience you have in these seats is going to be wholly dependent on who the visiting team is. If the Warriors are in town, you'll have a chance to sit just a few feet away from Steph and the rest of the stars. But if you're like me and the pitiful Knicks are the opposition, the seats are a waste of money.

On the plus side, Row A is directly behind the visitor bench. You feel kind of special because you have to pass security that guards just rows A and B. Additionally, drinks were free in these first two rows. And finally, being so close to NBA players is just a really unique experience.

On the down-side, it is really, really hard to see what's going on! I took one picture of the action - and it looks decent - but that's with me holding my camera above my head. I honestly had no clue at any point who had the ball when the action moved to the other side of the court. All I could see was when the ball was shot towards the basket.

Drinks were free - or at least that's what the menu said. That sounds cool, but no one ever came around to take my order. I saw plenty of drinks being delivered, just not to me. Also, drinks are free, but you still have to pay for food. Why is that? The Bulls should at least offer hot dogs, popcorn and other small treats to fans in these seats.

As a Bulls fan, I would never, ever sit here again. But I can see the appeal if you're visiting from out-of-town and you want to see your guys.

Horrid view, the giant screens blocked a huge portion of the stage — Do NOT sit in 121 or the section on the opposite of the arena if you can avoid it. While these seats are close to the stage, any benefit of that is ruined by the 2 giant screens. A lot of arenas have these but the ones here were so far forward that it made viewing most of the stage impossible.

I went and saw NCT 127 and in this pic every member was on stage but only 2 were visible! And just barely!

The people to the right of me had it even worse!

  • Seating and Ticket Q&A

  • How is the view from Section 121 at the United Center?

These are some great seats for a concert! Seats 1-4 will be on the aisle on the right side of the section. Aisle seats are great to get in and out of the section easily. Section 121 is also located near where the stage starts. These seats are close to being a side view, but they are not quite there yet. If the artists go out on the runway you may be behind them for a bit, but it should not ruin your experience. Row 14 is about 3/4 of the way to the top of the section and a couple rows above where the tunnels come in. The photo below is from Row 12. Your view will be two rows higher and closer to the aisle on the right.
