RYS Expert Reviews

100 Level

(2026 Review) - Lower Bowl Seating: The 100 Level runs sections 101–122, wrapping the entire lower bowl.  Premium Price Tag: These are usually the most expensive tickets in the building, though the experience shifts by event.  Best Concert Seats: Side sections shine, and when the stage sits at the far end, 113 and 121 are the top seats in the lower level.  Bulls Caution: Skip sections 106 and 117 — they sit directly behind the basket and offer some of the worst views in the arena.  Blackhawks Anywhere: It's tough to find a bad seat here for hockey, from sidelines to corners to ends.  Who Should Sit Here  The 100 Level at the United Center is for fans who want to be close to the action and are willing to pay for it. Whether you're catching a concert, a Bulls game, or a Blackhawks matchup, the lower bowl puts you near the floor or ice — just choose your section carefully, since the best spots change with the event.  100 Level Seating Details  The 100 Level is the lower seating tier and is made up of sections 101 through 122, circling the arena. For concerts, the stage is most often set at the West end, which makes the side sections the strongest picks. For basketball, the sidelines run along the length of the court, while sections 106 and 117 sit behind the baskets. For hockey, benches are in front of sections 101 and 122.  Views from the 100 Level  Your view depends heavily on the event. For concerts with the stage at the far end, sections 113 and 121 keep fans close and comfortable without craning their necks. For Bulls games, sideline seats deliver unobstructed views without the baskets in the way, while 106 and 117 behind the hoops are the ones to avoid. For Blackhawks games, sidelines give good looks to each end, corners provide great angles to the ice, and end sections offer a unique perspective — note that the Blackhawks shoot twice toward the net in front of 117, and the glass may disrupt views in the lower rows.  Pro Tip  If you're buying lower-level seats for a Bulls game, it's worth paying extra to sit along the sideline for a clean, unobstructed view. For a Blackhawks game, almost any 100 Level section works — just aim for a few rows up if you want to stay clear of glass interference.

Seating Notes

  • The Blackhawks shoot twice towards this end of the ice

Amazing view no matter where the players were — These seats are some of the most sought after in the United Center. If you have some cash to spare, I would definitely go and spend a little extra on these seats.

Not only is in seat food and beverage service included but the only people who can access the floor of the United center are people who have seats in rows B, A, AA or courtside.

It makes for a really special experience with the players being only 10 ft away from you.

Amazing View of the Stage — These seats were on the right aisle (farther away from the stage), but you have an amazing angled view at what's happening on the stage. You barely have to turn your body to see the stage perfectly.

Can't see the video screen above, but you don't need to. You're right at eye level with the performer so there's not much getting in your way.

Perfect Seats in Section 113 — Would definitely buy Bulls tickets here again. Great spot with clear views to both baskets. The concourse was just a few steps away which made it easy to get to and from. I liked being on the aisle, but there is a fair amount of foot traffic (especially early on and near breaks) that can be distracting.

Almost Exactly on Side of Stage — These seats put you almost directly in line with the performer at the front of the stage. Ideally, you would want to be further to the right, even in the same section.

Overall, pretty good seats close to the stage, but you can do better if seeing the performer head-on is important to you.

Great seats, close to the action — Sight lines to near side opposite corner are bad once you get closer than the 10th row, but it's worth the compromise for being that close to the action.

Stick to Low Number Seats — Lower number (1,2, etc.) seats in Section 113 have a great view of the stage, but as you get into double-digit seat numbers, you're too much on the side of the stage. This applies for 121 as well, but you'd want to be in a high-number seat on that side.

  • Seating and Ticket Q&A

  • Should I choose 100 level or 200 level for concerts at United Center?

In Section 113 Row 19 Seats 1-2, you will directly above the entry tunnel between Sections 113 and 112, which means you won't have any other fans directly in front of you, however there is a safety railing located just in front of the seats. This is also the case with Section 112, Row 19, Seats 21 and 22, which are also above the same entry tunnel. And while the railing just in front is not terribly high, it will limit your leg room and will limit the view compared to other seating options at the United Center.

In Section 209, you will be further from the stage for a traditional end stage setup, but will have a head on view of all the action (compared to Sections 112 and 113 which have more of a side view). Section 209 is also located on the Club level, which gives you access to a more private concourse and fewer rows in the section for easier trips to and from the restrooms and concessions.

If possible, we would recommend opting for seats in Sections 217-218 and 233-234 as these sections are located on the club level and will keep you close to the stage for a traditional end stage performance.

Sections 112 and 113 will keep you closer to the stage, while Section 209 provides a more comfortable experience with head-on views from the Club level
