Features & Amenities

Boston and the TD Garden attract the biggest names in music - and when these performers come to town, tickets on the floor are usually the most desirable for their close location to the stage.

Floor Seats for a Concert

Different performers will have different floor and stage setups, but the most common setup at TD Garden is to have nine floor sections labeled A-J. Sections A-C make up the front floor, while sections D-F and G-J make up the middle and rear floor, respectively.

Row labels on the floor are almost always numbered with row 1 closest to the stage. The floor holds about 50 rows of seats with the front floor usually spanning about 10-20 rows. Between sections is typically an aisle break. Sitting near these aisle breaks allows for more opportunities for clear views to the stage.

Seat numbers on the floor are fairly standardized with most rows containing 14 seats. Again, this is subject to change by performance, but most shows use this traditional end-stage setup. When looking towards the stage from the floor, seat 1 is the right-most seat in each section.

Fan Reviews

Must be Tall Thank god for the big screen behind the stage or I would have not seen a dang thing! If you want floor seats and you're not NBA tall - buy closer to the stage! Or lodge for a perfect view!

Cher - Dec 8, 2019 We had 2 seats at the beginning of the aisle. Great view only six rows back from the stage. Ridiculous that they take the cap off your bottle of water because "people throw them" huh?

Seating and Ticket Q&A

Where are Section E Row 2 Seats 7 and 8 at TD Garden?

Floor section E is the second floor section from the center of the stage. Floor section B will be just in-front but only has 7 rows of seating, so the very front row of section E is just 8 rows from the front center of the stage. There are a total of 25 rows in Section E, running from Row 1 in the front and ending at row 25. Therefore, at Row 2 of Section E, you will be just 9 rows from the front of the stage. Each row of Section E has 14 seats, so while seats 7-8 will not be near an aisle, they will put you in position for great views from almost right at the center of the stage.

Are Loge seats better than Floor seats for Miley Cyrus concert at TD Garden?

There are great seating options in both the Floor and Loge seating sections, and choosing the better of the two will depend on your personal preferences for going to a show.

Floor Overview

Floor Layout
The typical Floor layout at a TD Garden concert features nine sections of folding chairs

In the floor sections, you will be assured of a head on view to the stage (rather than some of the extreme side views that will be had in Sections 15 & 20). Floor seats will also be one of the closest places to be for the concert, and being so close to the action provides a high energy atmosphere. One concern with being on the floor is that the seats will be folding chairs setup on ground level, with no elevation between rows. This will increase the risk of having your view impeded if you should have a taller fan sitting just in front of you.

Loge Overview

Loge Seats can also get you very close to the stage, but will not have as much of a head on view to the center of the stage from the closest sections. We recommend sections 1, 12, 13, and 22 for the best combination of proximity to the stage and viewing angles from the Loge level. While the Loge seats will not be as close as the best Floor sections, they will however feature stadium style seating where your seating row is elevated above the row in front, which helps to reduce obstructed views due to the fans in front of you.
