Upper Level
-Best Shade in Surprise Stadium: Fully covered seating provides strong protection from the Arizona sun. Elevated, Clear Sightlines: Overhang design creates strong views of the entire field. Smaller, Accessible Sections: Many sections have fewer than ten rows. Mix of Premium & Value Options: Includes both the Legends Deck and more affordable Upper Dugout Seats. Who Should Sit Here? The Upper Level at Surprise Stadium is ideal for families and fans attending Kansas City Royals or Texas Rangers Spring Training games who want consistent shade and a comfortable viewing experience. It’s a strong choice for those who prefer elevation and protection from the sun over sitting close to the field. Upper Level Location The Upper Level at Surprise Stadium runs along the infield and sits directly above the Lower Level seating bowl. Because these seats are covered by the stadium roof, they offer some of the most reliable shade during day games. On the first base side, the Upper Level also includes the Legends Deck — a premium club-style space with additional amenities and lounge access. Views from the Upper Level Upper Level seats provide a balanced, elevated view of the entire field. Sections 201–205, known as Upper Dugout Seats, slightly hang over the Lower Level, which helps create excellent sightlines to home plate and both dugouts. The elevation makes it easy to follow plays developing across the infield and outfield, while the smaller section size creates a more relaxed and less crowded atmosphere. Upper Dugout Seats Overview Sections 201–205 serve as a more affordable alternative to the Legends Deck while still offering strong infield views. Located directly behind these sections are picnic tables and a patio area, giving fans space to step away from their seats and enjoy concessions. With fewer than ten rows in many sections, these are some of the smallest and most accessible seating areas at Surprise Stadium.
