Best views of the near endzone!

    Aug 2014

    Football Review
    Section 103, Row 14

I sat in these seats right after sitting in Row 38. There's a huge difference. You really feel close to the field in these seats, even in Row 11. You basically own the near endzone which can be amazing if plays are on this side of the field. But if plays are on the other side of the field, forget about it. The view to the other side of the field is really difficult. You're too low to see a lot of the field at once, so you're constantly scanning your head back and forth following the action. On the positive side, you do have great views of the Cards sideline without being blocked by them, like you'd be if you were in a low row closer to midfield. Sitting in Row 11 vs. Row 38, you have a lot more stairs to walk up and down when you get in and out of your seats.

Excellent goal line view, ok view of other side

    Football Review
    Section 103, Row 38

I've sat in a lot of goal line seats in different football stadiums, and many of them stare straight forward almost behind the goal line. These seats have a good angle to them, which allows you to see your side of the field really well, while not having to turn a ton to see the far goal line. Despite the good field angle, the other side of the field is still pretty far away, especially at Row 38. The problem is, if you get closer to the field in this section, you can actually be too close and compromise your view. At least in Row 38 you are just a couple steps from the concourse and concessions. Corner Section 114 is comparable to this one, but I would rate much higher because you get a much better view of the big videoboard.

    Friendly fans

    • Main Level

      -

The Main Level at State Farm Stadium includes all 100-level seats. There are 44 sections numbered 101-144. Sitting in the 100-Level  Main-level seats are known for bringing fans close to the action on the field. Most sections have around 41 rows of seats. Caution: When sitting in rows 14 and below, players and equipment can block your areas of the field from view. For this reason, we recommend rows between 15-30 for the ideal viewing height. Red Zone Seats (138-144)  One group of seating that is unique is the Red Zone in sections 138-144. These seats have a large patio behind them to enjoy during intermissions or pregame. Sections near the end zones can provide a ton of excitement for scoring plays but can be more difficult to see the details at the other end of the field. Main Level Concert Seating  For concerts, the stage is typically set up on the side of the field nearest sections 101 and 137. To get the best views from the level, we recommend seats in the low rows of sections 106-110 and 128-132.

    • Main Level Corner (Basketball)

      -

Corner seats on the main level will have some of the furthest views on the lowest seating tier for basketball games at U of P Stadium. Only a few of these sections feature the extended riser seating (sections 104, 113, 125, and 134), leaving the remaining sections with the traditional permanent seating. Seats near the front of sections 103, 114, 124, and 135 will have some of the most frustrating viewing angles in the stadium, so we recommend searching elsewhere. This is due to the neighboring sections (closer to the court) having riser setups which will be higher above floor level while being at a similar distance from the back of the lower bowl. As the views from the lower tier won't be anything to write home about unless you're near mid court, we recommend opting for the baseline sections over the corner sections as you at least get a head on view to the videoboards when sitting behind the baskets.

    • Main Level Corner (Football)

      -

Corner seating between the endzone and sidelines provides impressive proximity to the nearby goalines for this Main Level Corner location. On the lowest tier of the stadium, 8 corner sections near the north endzone and 6 corner sections near the south combine to make this unique seating area which provides diagonal views of the action across the field. Fans searching for the best seats in this location should consider the north corner sections first (113-116, 122-125) as they will be able to easily view the large, impressive videoboard in the south endzone (corner sections at the south end will have a more difficult time viewing the videoboard). Most sections in the Main Level Corner sections contain 40 rows of seating running from row 1 (closest) to row 40 (furthest).
